  1. In all fairness, the judge ruled that the agreement with Barclays was valid, but rejected her claims on the realistic prospect of Barclays paying 1 person that much money. In reality the law should have been upheld better. The Greek bloke wouldn’t have even been an issue then.
  2. If we never did it though, we would never have stayed up, and we wouldn’t have finished 4th.

I think the problem is that everyone regardless of how they sing, will want to be sat there. The only 2/3 reasons why someone say in the East stand won’t sit in that area would be price, safe standing (if they are older), and the fact that they don’t sit along the pitch and see behind 1 goal. If those aren’t factors in them, then they will all choose to sit there to claim that they are part of the noise.
  4. We really need to move on though. The likes of Ritchie, Dummett being held by the club long past their sell by date is just a warning of how those players being held on to will damage us. We still have the likes of Hayden on our books. I honestly think that come the summer, we maybe best off just having everyone pre-takeover up for sale, and just concentrate on squad players.
  5. The Chinese league started to fall away because the Chinese government instructed all their business leaders to stop investing outside of China, and to stop investing in football to focus on growth in other areas. This is why clubs like Wolves have hit a wall, WBA, and Reading having trouble. I also think Southampton were hit a bit as well. On top of this, you also had Covid which also forced the players and managers to go home. The Chinese league, and the Saudi league are trying to do what the MLS did with Beckham. They are trying to bump it up. At first it will be big names players towards the end of their career, but soon enough they’ll be buying and creating those players that either start off in those leagues, or use it as a stepping stone onto the other leagues. I get the point that the Saudi league have fucked up the broadcasting. They have went with a platform that is just a boxing platform in a lot of countries, instead of going down the Sky route like the MLS and even the Chinese league did.
  6. His wages off the book.
  7. In all honesty, he was only good for us for 1 year. He got injured as soon as he arrived, the 1st full season where we finished 4th he was great. The 2nd season, with 3 games in a week, it was too much for him, he could only put in 1 good performance out of those 3 games, and we saw the mistakes and sloppiness that he made. It could be argued that he hasn’t made an impact at all this season.

    Joe Willock

Not good enough for where we want to be. A mid table footballer who does well in bursts.
  9. This I feel is part of the problem for today. I came into today thinking we would be fucking shit.
  10. Our bench is fucking shit. Absolutely no squad depth at all.
  11. I said the same against Bournemouth, you’ll get shot down for saying it.
  12. Fucking sick of us playing shit against the fucking shit.
  13. Willock is either well off it, or right on it. You never know what you are going to get until his 1st touch.

IF what he is saying is true, then it would still mean that we would need to find somewhere else to play, as SJP would have to be knocked down to complete the rebuild. If you aren’t encroaching on Leazes Park all that much, then that basically means we are building over the car park and that’s it.

    Alexander Isak

He’s never been an Arsenal fan, he was a boyhood AIK fan, and he played for them before moving to Germany. He is said to be a fan of Henry, but he would have been 7 when he left Arsenal, so likely only had a very limited memory of him being at Arsenal.
  16. Historically, playing in England as an Englishman results in a greater chance of being picked.

I very much doubt we’d have a bubble effect of cladding, the only bubble effect I think we could go for, is something like the Sage. The stadium like it or not is going to have things like restaurants and bars within it that are open on non match-days. This is going to require the stadium to have some sort of street level and possibly upper levels of openness/frontage. Blank wall/cladding isn’t going to work, and we’ll need this street level interaction for the day to day amenities to function. Let’s assume that we are locating it in Castle Leazes, or Leazes Park, are you really going to blank out a view to those parks from inside the stadium? Are you really going to cut off the building from the outside? If you are just strolling through the park and see a building with no activity, you’ll just ignore it. Open it up, some walls of glass with people drinking and having meals etc inside it, and you are tempted to go in. Even if we have the stadium on the arena site, the same rules apply for the riverside.
  18. They are investing well, it remains to be seen if the players they are buying will be enough to win the MLS or just make them a decent side. They are buying Lath from Boro, and been linked with another who’s name escapes me.

Would anyone class the Sage as a bubble wrap like design? Something similar for a stadium could potentially be mind blowing.
  20. There is an image going round showing that they had more points after the first 10 games this season, than they do at the stage we are at this season.
  21. They even went and put their content on DAZN. Unless you live in the America’s, it’s pretty much a boxing channel.
  22. Absolutely love that reception for him.

They haven’t chosen KSS. Both the headline and the article state that it is just their proposal and that they are 1 of many architecture groups providing proposals.
