Just the KSS proposal, it doesn’t mean the club will opt for their option. I highly doubt they would, especially with a £4bn budget.

Officially the club have always said Spring.

Me and LFEE were at the NUST meeting last night. Nothing of detail was said, but it was said that the feeling they are getting is that we are moving and the decision is made.

It would still be writhing their spring deadline to be honest. Some Twitter gobshite said March, and everyone ran with it.

From how I have read it, the bubble wrap option is just 1 possible look for a new stadium. They have invited architects to create proposals, and that is KSS’. I very much doubt the club would be willing to spend up to £4bn to have a copy and paste of the Allianz arena.

I wouldn’t worry about it, we’ll be getting a new stadium.
  7. I hope he’s a massive success back there.

Both Bayern Munich and Juventus would be evidence to the counter.

A new ground could facilitate a better atmosphere with the structure engineered to keep the noise in. It is however up to the crowd to make it.

This is the ground that was only beaten by Millwall in having to stop the BLM kneeling because of the crowd bewing.
  11. We’ll get this format next year.
  12. Can’t stand that fucking weasel Arty Ziff cunt.
  13. Aye, if I was Villa I’d be cashing in on that and keeping Duran. I’d also be tempted by going in for David or similar.
  14. Sorry like, but XG literally means expected goals. A penalty or a 1 v 1 against the keeper should go down as an expected goal. I know that there is a chance that they could be saved, but it’s expected goals, not probable goals.
  15. A 5% increase would represent the average ticket being under £50, but likely rounded up to £50. I honestly think that is fairly palatable, although I do think we should refrain from increasing prices above that until the region as a whole see’s the average wage increase quite an amount. I’d also say that cup tickets and friendlies shouldn’t see an increase at all, and where possible we should be charging £10-£15 for those tickets.
  16. Barrow vs Doncaster, 8pm start.
  17. XG is shit because I frequently see games with multiple 1 v 1’s against the keeper and XG will say 1.2 goals. Nah mate, I’m sorry but it’s going down as expecting him to score the fucking goal.
  18. The Chronicle are saying that the 95-97 strip earned the club £1m within its first week on sale.

I’m not a drinker, but I’ve thought that there is an argument to be allowed a drink in the stands, even if it there is a restriction on how many you are allowed to buy on each ticket until full time. However the trend to launch you drink since the 2018 World Cup has just put any argument for drinking in the stands back a few steps.

    Alexander Isak

Just apologise and admit you got it wrong, it’s not that fucking hard. What is more worrying is that he essentially offered to take it outside with another journalist who called him up on it instead of apologising.
  21. Since he’s came in we have brought in Adidas, and JD as major sponsors. You could argue that we should have a training shirt/ground sponsor, but either the club don’t see it worthwhile yet, or the Premier League are holding it up. At some point we have to commit to one, but I think it’s harsh to give him too much criticism yet. For what it’s worth, I think regardless of how we do it, the Premier League will be very resistant to us closing the gap on the top 6 clubs through sponsorship too quickly. Even if our league position warrants it, they will argue that our stature doesn’t. They will drag it out until the top 6 clubs have deals that are about to expire and can sign new ones that maintain the gap regardless.

To be fair, you could argue that they don’t want to work with local companies and just want McDonalds to come in and cater them. If they want to do it, then it would be possible to work with local companies. As I said, they probably have a general idea of what they use right now, and anyone going into the catering side of it would need to do a forecast and possibly have a few matches where they need to get it right. It’s entirely possible to do, it just comes down to will.
  23. I would fucking love it if he got 2 yellows in his next match.
  24. Yeah, but you have to pay £2,700.
  25. So his 3 match ban has been scrapped. Makes a mockery of both the Premier League, and PGMOL both saying it was the correct call.
