Yeah I think that will be the biggest example. I also think those giant staircases outside are a bit much as well, and those elevated walkways are failed 60’s brutalism. The fact that no capacity, and no images of it hosting anything outside of football with the alternative surfaces and what type of multipurpose flooring/storage system they are going for is quite telling.

Because football is so popular that clubs and the football authorities end up with massive political swing, and they use that swing to the benefit of themselves and not the fans.

I mean people are a bit pissed off at his parents going into clubs and dictating what’s going to happen and that their children should be undroppable. I think the questions regarding his attitude comes from that then anything else.

Let’s go back to 2023 when the people who for years had been selling their away tickets to other fans, including people who organise busses which has to be booked as part of the ticket. All of them managed to get a ticket to the cup final whilst everyone else who had been buying these tickets off them for years were left without because they never had the loyalty points. This is why these people are not just returning the tickets back to the club. They want the loyalty point, it possibly isn’t going to go for face value as soon as you enquire about it all of a sudden they have had messages from others who are willing to pay a bit more etc. This likely isn’t their first offence either, this is just the first time that they have been caught.

If they are selling them at face value there is no reason why they shouldn’t just return the tickets to the club. The only reasons why they haven’t is 1: They want the loyalty point without actually attending, 2: They aren’t selling them at face value at all.

I was going to say that isn’t that typical of most cities? However our most famous buildings (SJP aside) are well known to be built of stone. The closest connection to blue and bricks I could think of is the blue carpet they used to have outside the art gallery which has now faded away.

It looks awful in my opinion. I could understand it if it was one of those 3rd or 4th kits that team have now that are very similar to their home shirt, but have little twists of change in them. Not as an all out home shirt though. I could deal with a modern version of the barcode kit, but not that.
