Image a weekend of double headers at SJP where 4 home local non-league team play. North Shields vs whoever, then Morpeth vs whoever on Saturday. On Sunday you have Newcastle Benfield vs whoever, then Ashington vs whoever. Tickets are flat £5 fee, each club has merchandise for sale in the club shop or stalls around SJP. A small percentage of food and drink sales go to the clubs. NUFC looking to make minimal amounts of money after they have cleared expenses, and to pass it on to the clubs. Even if you only sold £10,000 tickets each day, at least those clubs would be playing in front of crowds larger than they could otherwise get, get a nice little earner out of it, and hopefully gain a few new fans.
