  1. Yep, it's often talked about but it really does feel like this is the bubble bursting moment right here. Really can't see the PL doing much to help either; there'd be complete uproar at this stage given the precedent they set with Everton. Whatever happens it's quite refreshing to know that we're going to be okay
  2. That's a good point actually, any of these get relegated and it just makes it more difficult for them. How will they cope not being the biggest most massive club and "everyones cup final?"
  3. It's no wonder you see a lot of players covering their mouths when they speak these days, as stupid as it looks.
  4. We're going to be laughing our tits off one day aren't we
  5. Someone come and get their da
  6. He's got to be one of the cheekiest cunts ever involved in the game.
  7. I particularly enjoyed the bit where Edwards admitted that he was a bit of a cunt at times
  8. Why's Joelinton and Bruno's futures uncertain, man
  9. Can already hear Daniel Levy's tears hitting the ground.
  10. If we sell Bruno, Joe, Wilson & Almiron we're going to have one hell of a budget
  11. Yeah, didn't he go to them off the back of a good season with WBA? 34 now, he'll do well to get another Championship club. Could see him somewhere like Wrexham.
  12. Not sure we've got the pulling power for that sort of deal just yet.
  13. An elite right winger changes everything. I'd also look to upgrade on Pope and maybe a centre back depending on what happens with Lascelles. A good AM (David Silva / Juan Mata esque) would be very nice but I'd like to see us prioritise elsewhere first.
  14. Feel like they sign players based on reputation, bit of a lesser 2017 -2022 Everton about them.
  15. It's crazy how bad that move turned out to be. Stoke seems to have been the death of a lot of strikers over the last 15 or so years.
  16. Aye. Still think this is a win/win for us, regardless of the sell-on %.
  17. Yep, it's complete bullshit and they're sprinting towards the passionless cash cow that they're really after.
  18. At the very least they need to increase the margin for error, create some sort of financial 'end zone' whereby once you're in it you cannot make any more transfers. A hard pass / fail line with a ridiculously high level of risk feels a bit too edge of a cliff like for me and surely goes against what the PL are pretending to try to achieve. They're basically saying it's okay if we relegate you and you struggle, but if you do it to yourself then tough titties.
  19. These sell-on clauses usually have an expiry date on them, right?
  20. Sky Sports News going with the narrative that PSR is bad.
  21. Plus we'd just had to put up with weak as piss David Rozehnal at the back, when other clubs had units like Samba and Ryan Nelson as battering rams and we sort of needed our own.
