Didn't think there was much wrong with what we did yesterday other than failing to score. It looked a fairly comfortable draw, we were never in any real danger, certainly nowhere near the amount they were.
The general feeling is that we sat on our hands and did fuck all when Ashley was dragging the club further and further into oblivion, and now we all whinge and moan like fuck when people want to stand and join in chants.
Oh and we all hate Sean Longstaff, Dan Burn and Nick Pope.
Their ultras walking through the town making loads of noise probably helped us as well. Properly got everyone going before they were anywhere near the ground.
Aye. I'm in Gateshead and I'd have to get through the town traffic and then battle other fans through Gosforth or wherever it is. I'd probably be fine doing it a few times but after the 10th or so I'd just be wishing I was in the house or down my local watching on IPTV. I can just imagine the club not feeling like Newcastle United in this scenario.
That would be a nightmare logistically. Shocking transport links, few parking spaces, no amenities nearby other than the Fog on the Tyne and McDonald's. Gateshead struggle with 1.5k, you'd have to do a lot more than simply spruce up the GIS.
