James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)
Dr.Spaceman replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
Nah, I thought he was good last season, just appears to have stepped it up a notch this season. I actually used to sign him on FM from South America, was aware of him for a bit before Brighton's interest became public knowledge (oooh, I'm hard) and did some Dennis Wise scouting on him, as I thought his name was fascinating and I didn't actually believe he was a real person with a name like that. Think he'd be a good addition to the squad and an attainable purchase, given he's only at Brighton. Decent tackler / dribbler, room for growth with no major weakness to his game. -

I'd go for Mac Allister over Maddison. Reckon he'll be more than happy to double his wage with us given Brighton's inability to keep Potter happy. Can't aee them appointing anyone anywhere near as high profile. -
Like going round in circles with some people. Surprised that boring nonce hasn't replied to Greg's update yet.

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)
Dr.Spaceman replied to joeyt's topic in Football
Feels good to finally have a player with 4 and a half start potential come from the academy this millenium. -
One of their better players, if not their best.

Going from "Let's pley!" to actual tactics tailored for each opposition has been a masterstroke tbh.

Wow, this season is nowhere near as bad as last season, and we survived that comfortably. -

Believe it or not it looks like we're missing two of our best players. -

Nice one Yorkie, I'll have to let you know based on day / start time.

In hindsight the deal to sign Pope is one of the best pieces of business we've ever done in terms of transfer value. It's up there with Cabaye, Tiote, Sissoko etc 10 mil these days is nowt and should really equate to an average squad player, not someone who's a guaranteed starter every week for a team pushing the Euro spots.

8/10 - really good.
