We've seen worse players than Jacob Murphy play regularly over the last 10-15 years. He's improved somewhat under EH and isn't the rabbit in the headlights he was when we first signed him. That said, the drop off from ASM to him is immense. ASM has to play for me if he's fit.

He's bang average. We deserve relegation if we're shitting ourselves at the prospect of playing against strikers who score every 3 and a half games

Given the way we've played I don't think we'll necessarily need ASM from the start to get a result here. Imagine being able to bring him off the bench with 20 / 25 mins to go if needed. These are actually pretty shit, they're just another Sheffield United who appear to have been found out sooner.

It's just a complete contrast in the way the two people approach the sport altogether. Said it before, Mitro would have been okay under Bruce imo.

Still a long way to go and there'll be a lot more twists between now and the end of the season. Don't blow your load just yet.

I'd be more concerned about Burnley's results if I was an Everton or Brentford fan tbh. Not ideal for us, but we just need to worry about our own games.

He's not who I'd go for personally, but who cares? He improves us and if he's not as good as we hoped then we move him on in a year or so for a similar fee. We have to trust their process, not everyone we sign is going to be your favourite player on FIFA or a FM wonderkid. We've little to no idea what Beheaddie's plans are for the side moving forward.

3. I want to be as invested as I was in the early 2000's but I think football in general is shite compared to what it was. However, I'm intrigued by the bigger picture with regards to investment in the city off the back of the club's general shift. I'm also looking forward to seeing us in Euro campaigns we actively want to be involved in, as they are the comps that will ultimately raise the club and the city's profile.
