I like their blatant denial of the fact that they're involved in a relegation battle whenever someone questions if we're as good as them. The response is usually something along the lines of "Championship" with about 25 people liking it.

If we're actually going to have a go at them and try one of those goal things then I think Atsu is probably our best shout on one of the wings. You don't want Atsu to start? I just can't get away with him, he's like a wing version of Oba. Give him loads of time and he'll balloon it, but 1 in 10 he'll pull a worldie out the bag.

Probably looking at where we've been manager-wise in the last 10 years. We've had nothing like Rafa in the sense that he appears to give a shit about everything from results in the first team to how our under 11's are getting on. I'd be willing to be that Pardew didn't do a quarter of the stuff Rafa does behind the scenes for example. It's refreshing to see. There's no knee-jerk reactions with Rafa, it all appears to be 'pro-active' thinking. Why you would get uptighht about losing a couple of games is beyond me. We're at the right end of the league, why would you be upset? Chris Hughton is 'having a ball' because he has the best players available to him (the same as he had with us), it's not fucking rocket science.

Unfortunately I think it's going to help the big clubs even more, as there will be less on the 'scrap heap' for the mid table sides.
