Yeah I agree with you on that point. There’s a few of us who felt quite let down by the trust with the loyalty point retention scheme. I gave up 150+ loyalties when Rafa left out of a protest. I totally accept the clubs position now that we don’t get them back, but the Trust promised to lobby on our behalf to get them back and they changed their minds on that. Quite a few of us gave up our STs on the back of that promise so felt pretty let down when it didn’t happen.

There’s a couple of good people on the podcast but it really irritates me when they get stuff wrong about past matches etc. I know it’s really petty as fuck but if you’re broadcasting like that then get your facts straight

Yeah I rate Pedro but that’s lunacy. Maddison would be a genuinely top class signing.

My gut feeling is we’ll have one first XI signing in January and a youngster or two, then in the summer it’ll be similar to this summer where we get four players in, with two being for a decent wedge. Obviously if we make top 4 then the quality of those signings increases fairly dramatically.

An outside shot is also Joe Willock. Had that ridiculous scoring run when he came in on loan under CSB and then really struggled when he first came in on a permanent deal. Lad has clearly got his head down, grafted his arse off and now looks settled in the team. Think it would have to take someone really special to dislodge him from the first XI now.

The thing I love most is the reading of the match situation. When we were on top we were pressing really hard, putting them under pressure and causing all sorts of problems. When they made the changes they were a lot more threatening and we recognised this, slowed it down and made it bitty as fuck. It was almost impossible for them to gain any momentum.
