Not sure on that one, but I know a bloke who was on a seniors ticket, with 200+ loyalty points. Because of covid he stopped going but his son took over the ticket in this renewal period. He was allowed to change category from a senior to an adult, and also keep all of the loyalty points. I was raging when I found out

If he’s 3rd/4th choice next year then that’s fair enough imo. Can see us signing a main striker this year to compete with Wilson for the main spot, and an up and coming one too. Toney, Wilson, Ekitike and Wood (or similar) would be a decent bunch to work with for next year.

Yeah agree with all of this. They still do have everyone’s history there but think I’m in the same boat as you. I was ST holder for years, loads of loyalty points etc. signed up as a member on takeover day and I’ve been to every game since. So got the purchase history, ST history and I’m a member. I would hope that would count for something, but again that’s my personal circumstances and can see why people would argue differently.

Everyone’s definition of “fair” is basically whatever suits their own individual needs best (me included).

The fairest solution is no new season tickets until supply can keep up with demand (ie stadium expansion). Tbh I think anyone who really wants one will get one. It may not be in the ideal seat etc but for every game this season as long as you’ve been online at 9.55 and got in the queue, there’s been no issue with getting them. Got to remember there’s quite a significant number of people who are happy to part with £50 for Liverpool at home but not so keen to part with the thick end of £700 or £800
