I’m struggling to think of many chances he’s created that have been missed by others tbh

Beat them 1-0 with a Shearer header in 2000. -
Only with clubs who aren’t in the same country as your current club. It’s to avoid a conflict of interest in case your current club plays your new club.

He can’t sign a contract with us until his Man United one expires. He can only sign a pre contract agreement with an overseas team.

Perfect player on a free. Fills a gaping gap in the squad for a couple of years and then we go our separate ways.

Would need to get off to a good start or could come in for some schtick

From the Athletic… “I see it as a compliment to the football club,” Mowbray said. “There’s a really important member of staff leaving to go to Newcastle United this week. Mowbray did not name the staff member joining Newcastle but The Athletic understands he is Liam Mason. Mason is a sports scientist at Rovers whose official title is head of athletic performance.

Aye, Greg is sound as fuck. He’ll be the first to admit the Trust have made mistakes but I have no doubt whatsoever he’s done absolutely everything with the best intentions.

You can’t replace a whole squad in one summer. If you look at the number of players who are likely to go… Darlow Lewis Hayden Hendrick Gayle Clark Ritchie Fernandez Dummett (?) Murphy (?) I agree he’s not good enough long term but the message is clearly evolution rather than revolution.
-
If he’s on a four year deal we’d probably get somewhere around £10m/£15m next summer. Handy to have around the place in case of an emergency next season and then I’m sure we’ll go out separate ways.

There will have to be some level of “general” sale. My assumption is that the box office staff member meant it would go to members and STHs for extra tickets, and then it would sell out there before making it to regular general sale.
-
I think Burnley will get at least another 4 points like. They play Villa twice who have been dreadful recently.

Just reading RAWK and the general consensus is that they’ll twat us. I’d love us to be the ones that end the quadruple talk today. -
Considering they said tickets will go on general sale after renewals, that doesn’t seem right. Unless she means they’ll go to members and won’t make gen sale after that.

Mike Dean is on VAR -
I was thinking that. If you had a few of them on it then it would be a sensible way of incrementally increasing the pay structure without pissing off all your best players.
