He was 4th official that night. -
Pretty sure it’s just Howe ensuring against complacency this season. Almost certain we’ll be in to sign in.
-
He’s literally done an interview to say he’d never sign for us

Howay the lads

Yeah I’m all on the Burnley train now

Could listen to this bloke all day. His technique to leave any difficult question outside the off stump is textbook

Some not mentioned yet Sheff wed 8-0 Barnsley 3-0 when Brighton cocked up the title bruges away juve 1-0

As daft as it sounds, the Bruno goal may well be my favourite. My son’s fourth game but the first time he’s seen us win and first time in the Gallowgate. The look on his face at the end was priceless.

Reading was 3-0 with Shola hat trick. Sheff Wed was 1-0.

Villa, one point below us, are 500/1.

Would love an Ando banner. “JUST PUT IT IN THE NET” -
These two proper give me Keegan and Terry Mac vibes…

Hopefully they’ll be in beach mode after losing today. Being mathematically safe by the end of the week would be lovely. -

Same - did the Norwich pre season game and he spent the whole game booting the chair in front, left it 5 months and he was much more interested in the Cambridge game. Took him to Watford and he was buzzing with the 1-1 as it was “better than losing to Cambridge” Today is game number 4 for him. -

I wouldn’t do it before 5 if I’m honest, they’re just not ready for it at that age and could find it intimidating. Taken my 6 year old a couple of times this season though and he loves it but does find it hard to concentrate for the full 90 mins. -
Remember the mackems #cans tweet? How’s that worked out for ‘The Lads’?

Tested positive for covid this morning, then “tested negative” this afternoon.

I think we’ll be cautiously ambitious in the summer, with sensible buys like in January. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a net spend of c£120m, with us spending about £150m in total and recouping £30m or so in sales. Can’t see us being reckless and spending over £200m etc. Something along the lines of this would be unreal: Henderson (£20m) Botman (£40m) Paqueta (£50m) Targett (£15m) J.David (£30m) Lingard (Free) Broja (loan) Out: Darlow, Woodman, Lewis, Clark, Hayden, Ritchie, Gayle, Fernandez, Murphy, M Longstaff

Given (a) the price tag with potential FFP limitations and (b) the fact some of the biggest teams in Europe want him, I think we can safely put the Nunez chat to bed. He won’t be coming here.
