  1. https://www.villatalk.com/topic/22443-steven-gerrard/page/403/#comments Turned on him already
  2. We’re signing players on their way up, not those past their prime. Will be staggered if that one is anything other than absolutely 100% steaming bullshit.
  3. Henderson £20m Botman £35m Targett £15m Lingard (Free) Decent striker £30m-£50m Marquee: Paqueta £50m Job done
  4. Read something that it is between SJP and Elland Road. Pretty certain that if SJP is being extended then it’ll be done well before 2028.
  5. Exactly. Hardly gonna say “aye we’ve got £500m to spend” are we
  6. Rather than letting people get on the site at 9.50 and refresh at 10, they put everyone in one queue and randomly assigned you a number at 10am. Much better way of doing it.
  7. Juhmaiyehn Defoweh retiring with immediate effect apparently
  8. Same here, thankfully it came back from the dead at about 10.05 and I bagged a couple together in the middle tier of the Gallowgate.
  9. 4 points from those 3 games and it would be pretty much job done.
  10. Lingard on a two year contract with the option of a third would be fine. I think he’d be a good signing for the next step to become a top 10 side, and then when we look to make the next step to regular European qualification it would be time to go our separate ways.
  11. On the day Howe took over we had a 62% chance. Howe had done an unbelievable job.
  12. Come back soon sweet prince
  13. If anyone on here gave up their season ticket in protest to Ashley and you took part in the NUST “loyalty points retention scheme” please could you drop me a DM?

Good - hope he goes full tilt on them
  15. When I gave up my season ticket (when Rafa left, had it for 20+ years with 145 loyalty points) one of the reasons I did was because NUST assured us that they would approach any new owners to try to get loyalty points back for those who took a stand against Ashley. I could honestly cry that I’m going to be back at 0 points and may even struggle to get a season ticket. I’ve given up nearly every Saturday for 20 years to follow the team and now I’m back of the queue. I understand the “you knew the risks” craic but it’s just bollocks to me. I genuinely don’t think Ashley sells if 10,000 seats weren’t empty. Don’t forget it’s more than 10,000 who sacked it off because he also had to increase the family section from 1,000 seats to 10,000, with cheap tickets for kids. So it’s more in the region of 20k who sacked it off. I think the whole notion that those who boycotted were not “loyal” and therefore should go to the back of the queue is the worst thing for me. I know a lad who bought a season ticket for the first time this year and has bought 5 away tickets and sold them all on. He has no intention of going to aways but wants a ticket to the European aways when they come back. It’s not as if those wanting to come back are asking to skip the queue, we’re just hoping to not be penalised for trying to force Ashley out.
  16. Looks like Paqueta’a had a word with Eddie. Starts apparently.
  17. Bit shit for Paqueta to come and watch Bruno sit on the bench
  18. The Trust saying they’ve had discussions with the club as to how to prioritise season ticket sales.
