  1. We’ve got 3 away games in 7 days in a couple of weeks, so pretty sure that’s when we’ll see Bruno come into the starting line up
  2. Surely unless you’re in the first 30 or so then you’re better off trying online.
  3. Have just spoken to the box office. They said there will be no priority for members and it’ll be first come first served with online and in person going live at the same time.
  4. It’s no coincidence that immediately after the takeover they brought out the “retro” shirt, which is basically the current home shirt but with a stitched crest, no shit sponsor and a slightly different collar. I have no doubt Ashley will have agreed the cheapest possible deal with them and their quality will be much better next season.
  5. Totally agree with this. Especially in the short term I think there will be a fair few who are struggling with rising cost of living. I genuinely think 60k would be fine. If you look back to when we were in the CL under Bobby, most of the games didn’t sell out. There were 4k empty seats for the Juventus game, for example.
  6. SJP redevelopment is the only way to go. It’s our home, I can’t believe some people would give it up so easily. We could easily play at the Darlington arena for a season whilst it was sorted.
  7. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/markets/article-10517273/Staveley-brands-Ashley-claims-embarrassing-High-Court-battle.html ”They claim the new owners discovered only after the transaction that Newcastle had 'not received any sponsorship fees in respect of the Sports Direct or Flannels signage for the 2019/20, 2020/21 or 2021/22 seasons'.”
  8. Hopefully there will be a few more open over the course of time - another city centre one, one in the airport etc
  9. It was when he slid in to stop the cross for Townsend and he got dummied, just after the goal I think.
  10. I think he’ll play. If he wasn’t going to then Howe would have outright said that.
  11. Boro and Derby have reached an agreement over their dispute, so expect movement on the sale of Derby soon. Guess who wins again.
  12. These are significantly better than Everton. A point would be a decent result, a win would be fantastic.
  13. Might be a pointless exercise mind as tickets usually go on sale online before they go on sale in person
  14. The fume on North Stand Chat is superb.
  15. I genuinely don’t think they’d have bought us had that not been their plan.
  16. I wouldn’t read too much into it - they normally stop membership sales about this time as selling a season membership for a couple of months worth of benefits ain’t really a good look. That said, I expect them to make big changes to ticketing moving forwards, especially away loyalty points. We’ve got far too many fans who buy tickets just for the loyalty point and then sell them on, and loads who are on 150+ points who only attend the odd game now. I gave up my season ticket (150+ points) when Rafa left, it was a wrench but I knew the potential consequences. If and when they go on sale, I’ll join the scramble to get one. Unfortunately I do think a lot may have to give up season tickets on the back of rising inflation and energy bills etc. Hopefully the club take this into account when setting season ticket prices.
