  1. Them, the players and some club owners. Everybody else loses out. People should just end their Sky subscriptions and turn to illegal streams in their droves in disgust. What's wrong with people being rewarded for entertaining others? players fine, some owners less good agents fuck those parasites and everything they stand for
  2. the true winners in all this, the parasitic agents
  3. bbc got the highlights a week or two ago
  4. And that pretty much obsoletes the fans at games
  5. Gameweek 25 Arsenal 3-0 Leicester Hull 0-0 Aston Villa Sunderland 1-0 QPR Liverpool 2-1 Spurs Chelsea 3-0 Everton Man Utd 2-0 Burnley Southampton 1-1 West Ham Stoke 1-2 Man City Crystal Palace 2-1 Newcastle West Brom 2-1 Swansea
  6. do rather dislike this comparison (and the other obvious similar comparisons in Doctors, Nurses, teachers etc) yes footballer wages are a bit on the revolting side but so long as the money pouring into football keeps increasing then obviously the wages are going to go up since they're the guys making the money.
  7. on the whole 2 pretty bad teams playing an utterly meaningless game
  8. Lee Charnley a few weeks ago quoted in the chronicle quality journalism by the star, newcastle are going to appoint the one guy which doesn't fit any of the categories the club has for the head coach role
  9. Yep. considering we've mostly been fairly shite since he arrived first time round it is rather daft he hasn't won at SJP
  10. Daniel Taylor ‏@DTguardian 3m3 minutes ago Congratulations to Aston Villa. 4.06pm on Feb 7 and they have finally scored as many league goals in Birmingham this season as Bournemouth.
  11. you know the daft thing is all they have to do for easy pr is to specify the new friday set of games have to be on free to air, there would still be a ridiculous competition for the rest and no doubt a big increase on the current deal and they get easy fluff PR. This will all end up in a bad way sooner or later and a lot of clubs are going to be in an awful lot of trouble

    José Mourinho

I'm choosing to ignore what this prick has to say for himself, pity the english press has their collective lips surgically attached to his ass, quite pathetic how they act to him.
  13. GW 24 Spurs 1-1 Arsenal Aston Villa 0-3 Chelsea Leicester 1-2 Crystal Palace Man City 3-0 Hull QPR 0-2 Southampton Swansea 2-0 Sunderland Everton 0-2 Liverpool Burnley 1-2 West Brom Newcastle 1-2 Stoke West Ham 1-2 Man Utd
  14. don't think he got over the failure to get the England job and getting the sack from Spurs, he knows he'll never get the england job now and more than likely lost his one chance of competing at the top of the table and after managing in the CL knockout phase and competing briefly for the title it must be rather hard to settle back into the grind of a relegation battle, from working with one of the best players in the world in Bale to working with Joey Barton.
  15. not read it myself but at least the argument can be made for Carlisle's story actually might encourage people to seek help with depression etc.
  16. not the way he's positioned himself with the loans, money talks and while he controls the purse strings like he does and has his grip on everything except Ibrox itself he will have the final say
  17. ah jeez, hopefully he can get the help he needs now
  18. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/feb/04/jack-wilshere-smoking-pictured-shisha-pipe-arsenal not the brightest guy in history.
  19. FIFA innit? FIFA advised the French FA, they asked for assistance in the judgement and FIFA endorsed their ruling. Frech FA probably taking the opportunity to fuck him over after some of the high profile shit with France he's been involved in. nope its not, very similar case I heard about on the times podcast Nathaniel Chalobah played in reserves for chelsea in august, loan to burnley didn't play so back to chelsea, they try to send him to bordeaux on loan only for it to be blocked as for some reason FIFA thinks the premier league reserve league is a real game while the FA doesn't have any such delusion so he goes on loan to reading instead Article I read said that the French FA asked Fifa to advise/endorse their decision, which they did. whomever decided it no 1 its a pretty daft rule to begin with, might have made sense in the days of transfers anytime but now with only 2 windows its an outdated relic, like much of the fifa organisation. no 2 someone needs to tell the FA that u21 games are real because they sure as hell don't think so, right now HBA could go to any premier league or football league team with 0 issue at all.
  20. no chance he'll ever come here too far north and more importantly him without control on transfers and without a transfer budget? Yeah sure seems likely.

  22. He always has been a right back, it's on pardew that played him left back. Mike williamson used to be a striker! played most of his career at left back always looked awkward for us the few times he played rb
