could be the fact its not a real fixture but a friendly
-
apparently West Ham want Spurs to pay some or all his wages for playing for them-quite how they expect Levy of all people to accept this kind of deal is another story

Micah Richards can join someone else because the Community Shield was classed as last season, so I'm guessing as far as FIFA are concerned, the MLS will be classed as a new season too for when it starts again? nope, happened at cork city about 8 years ago, 2 players couldn't play until july (season goes from march to november) because of this rule-fifa rules cover the year 1st july to 30th of june.

different rules in scotland it seems

Ben Smith @BenSmithBBC 2m2 minutes ago Latest information I have on Rickie Lambert is that he is 'considering' whether to join Aston Villa tonight.

would suck for Burnley, get next to nowt if he moves there but would have gotten a fair enough wedge going to another english club
-
on their way to Rangers (maybe) according to ssn so no.

I refuse to pay attention to what that asshole says the way he conducted himself re the Wales job post Gary Speeds death was a disgrace
-
kinda strange more teams haven't been active this month, you'd think more near the bottom would try for something
-
if we were replacing him with a cb and rb even young ones I actually wouldn't care if he was going or not but the fact he's going without anything resembling a replacement when the squad is short to begin with is utter madness
-
I'd worry more about the state of central defense, ultimately you might get away with it to some extent with a makeshift fullback, cb not so much

he did do a great job at Palace Come on, you sound like someone commenting on how great Pardew was for us. well he did do a great job at Palace they got promotion on his ground work, kinda baffled me why he went to Bolton when that club was hardly in great condition post relegation.
-
they can't get anything away from home and apart from us are out of the easy home games very hard to see them staying up

he did do a great job at Palace

you know I forgot about Raylor

Really? I prefer Haidara. Haidara is better going forward than Dummett and Santon but isn't a better defender and a Left backs primary role is to defend. Haidara gets forward and leaves acres of space in behind him which when he's played other teams have exploited. Funny, that's how I see Santon. For me Haidara is far more aware and responsive to his defensive duties than Santon. neither Santon or Haidara are up to much defensively lets be honest. Anyway we have few enough defenders as it is (including santon we have 6 senior defenders for the rest of the season) getting rid of one would be just the kind of stupidity ashley would go through with but would be utter madness to only have 5 senior defenders for 4 positions.

60 grand a week 3rd choice...can see that happening. I'd personally get rid of the lot; colo, willo, Taylor, we'd get next to nowt, but it would free up a lot of wages and squad space. Can see us watching qprs season like a hawk and go for austin & caulker should they go down. honestly don't get what people see in Caulker
-
not personally then again even if all else fails I fall back on my local club which is a refreshing counter balance to all the PR and corporate bullshit and utter lack of real competition present in the top leagues in europe. Sure the football isn't exactly stellar but its honest

SSN think he is off to Spurs or Villa and our interest has "cooled". translation they offered him or the club more or ashley found out they were trying to spend his rangers funds behind his back and put charnley back in his place

Tim Vickery on World Football Phone-In always goes on about how the Brazilian football system has changed dramatically over the years and that's it actually become more English in nature. More emphasis on producing physical, 'jack-of-all-trades' players who can run for days, less so on producing the flair players we traditionally associate with the country. Why? this explains it, from 2010 http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/legacy/timvickery/2010/07/netherlands_v_brazil_1974.html

Oscar is so boring to watch these days man. He just isn't doing anything. I hate Mourinho Won most tackles in the World Cup. 14 more than second placed dutch CB de Vrij Open to correction here but hasn't he had that kind of stat (high amount of tackles) even before Mourinhio? Seem to remember something like that anyway In Brazil he was playing more as a striker, second striker so not sure. Don't know about his first season at Chelsea though. apparently 3rd highest successful tackles per game in the chelsea team in his first season behind Ramieres and azpilicueta
