Tony Barrett @TonyBarretTimes 18s Liverpool have accepted an offer from Bayern Munich for Pepe Reina.

Are you stupid on purpose? Am I stupid?! Stuart Pearce is the stupid one! He hasn't coached a damn game! Why would he come out and say that in public, let it be known behind the scenes if you have to. He's going into a new season with a weird atmosphere now, with tension in the crowd who will only be riled up more. Yet, the players are still going to be in the team. Bet their jobs will be much easier now. Besides why would he talk like that beforehand when it's clear the last say has nothing to with him?! He'll be sacked by December. I'll put any money on it. He's dumb. The way I see it he might as well step down now, and save himself the palava. makes it look like theres been some rather serious tensions behind the scenes all summer between him and the owner with this response.

over £10m being spent on him too, hell of a gamble considering his injury record.
-
there's a good player in there if he can stay fit.
-
would have preferred a recall clause for them in jan if for example the cb wasn't playing he may as well be here in that case or if Krul or Elliott pick up a major injury to have some backup ready.
-
this is true, I would have went for Southampton as underperforming but would it be underperforming to do quite badly considering how much they've sold already with more sales to come? You could also put half the bloody league in the relegation spots and make a damn good case for it
-
altogether a rather sensible set of signings that show actual forward thinking, so the real question is what drugs is mike ashley on? This summers transfers have been all too sensible including actually getting a replacement in before selling someone so he's clearly on some kind of drugs.

from this I think http://www.nottinghampost.com/Lascelles-Darlow-sign-Newcastle-United-loaned/story-22067073-detail/story.html?

quoted just in case

anyway I don't have a clue about either player so are they any good?

forest could need the cash to spend in other area's and with a possible loan back to the clubs might make sense for them

He's a player who doesn't strike the ball well at all and makes bad decisions in possession. He could be incredibly confident and still be abject. Disagree there like. He made better decisions on the ball in this friendly tournament and strike a better shot than I've seen him do in two years in the premier. Confidence is a massive factor IMO. tend to agree on the confidence thing, he doesn't seem capable of handling pressure in the slightest and whatever confidence he has seems to drain out him him if he makes a mistake. In theory he'd be almost the ideal player to bring on mid 2nd half to just scare the hell out of tired defenders with his pace but as of yet he's almost never used that pace effectively

there is fuck all point putting hba in any potential lineups he's never playing for the club again
-
hope he can carry this form into the season, doubt he'll start games at first but if he shows that kind of form coming off the bench and the games he does get a chance in he'll get in the first team quick enough.

Brummie said about 3 days ago "he isn't even that good" but is amazing compared to the others they have he's looked at times the only thing holding the villa backline together. I think he's better than what we have but how much
-
would be funny but no way in hell will they sell him to us unless they've really lost their marbles and want their fanbase to hate them. Hasn't Wickham had about 3 months out of 3 years which he has played well for them!? more or less though he's only 21.

He's actually capable of doing deals so at least he's competent
-
He's still young, and has only recently moved to Europe, and so I would imagine it's just a bit of caution. Never really mind a loan, as long as that option for a permanent move is included. I'm not quite as fond of loans as that simply because of cases like Remy last year and him not staying despite an apparent buyout clause but suppose its understandable
-
I know absolutely nothing about him but hey another striker can't be bad.
-
Hatem really loves winding the king up like. That game last season where he was left out of the squad then bought a ticket to watch the game in the stands I hope he stays another season just to fuck pardew off. would be a complete waste of a year of his career because he will not play for the first team again here.
