  1. How about vaguely credible then? its all guess work tbh
  2. and there went the little credibility that site had
  3. sheffield united going through to the QF
  4. why the fuck are Swansea not wearing their home kit
  5. beyond belief he's gone on loan to QPR, was fantastic before christmas and they should be building their entire side around him-if they didn't have a stone age manager who'd rather build around a crock to hoof at.
  6. lets say I'm hardly convinced by an "exclusive" by the Express and throwing Anal Oliver on top just makes me certain this is a load of horseshit. Wait and see though
  7. suppose in theory it would be not only transfer stuff but work on improving the youth setup which he would have more knowledge of.
  8. his record says otherwise His management record is very average. DOF is the sort of role that suits him perfectly though- he knows how football should be played, he understands the value of youth, he's hugely respected and speaks passionately and professionally. a coaching role or running a clubs academy would be the best role for him, DOF involves a lot more than just knowing football and having good knowledge of it-useful tools but also need some damn good negotiation skills since its an important part of the job.
  9. well thats just awkward. Strange this overall as Fulham actually looked decent vs Man Utd (well at defending at least) and Liverpool they were a bit unlucky to get 0 points and overall with the new players could have been the corner turned and a very random choice of coach considering they have 2 others employed at the club with management experience one with rather a lot of it and previous for keeping a club up in what seemed certain doom scenario in Curbishley.

    Kevin Keegan

Happy Birthday to him, wouldn't have him back personally since the first time around was such a case of catching lightning in a bottle which I don't think is repeatable (not in the way he did it then anyway) and I would rather look forward than backwards but only the worlds greatest fool would dispute his achievements at the club and the only shame is missing out on a trophy to cap the success.

    José Mourinho

I hate the term "mind games" what a fucking load of crap. Like players or managers are crying or going to change what they do because one classless bastard says some bullshit. Media has a lot to answer for on this.

    José Mourinho

What a scumbag thing to say.
  13. seem to recall it being mentioned before too.
  14. I never really understand how his results with Norwich prove anything tbh. He doesn't exactly have much to work with there. Or am I missing something? seems to be getting tactical decisions horrifically wrong in the same mold as the most common complaints about Pardew take the game vs West Ham, Norwich played well on another day would have won but at 75 mins or so he took off the most obvious goal threat in Hooper for Elmander who has about as much goal threat as Shola and took off Redmond who whenever I've seen him has looked by some way their best player. Those are negative subs and they paid the price with West Ham scoring after they happened.
  15. Like fuck it does, Hughton wasn't sacked because we were playing crap and losing games embarrassingly. He was sacked because Llambias and Ashley wanted their yes man wanker mate in the job. And Pardew took over a team which was happy and playing ok. The situation is different now. And the appointment now if Pardew was sacked, would be because results and performances have been dreaful, beyond dreadful actually. Not that i have faith any appoinment being outstanding but it'll be better than this fuckfaced arsegravy breathed cuntstain. OK, the point isn't about the individual managers. Hughton may be a bit better. The point is whether Ashley can appoint a good manager. Doesn't really matter to me either way, just saying. I dont think it'll be Ashley who appoints the next manager. He'll be consulted and give the final say but i dont think he cares now. Personally i think it'll be Charnley and Irvine who search for that manager, and it's they who will put that managers name forward to Ashley. If that is the case i just hope they have more common sense than Llambias did. problem is that raises another big issue, who actually decides if Pardew goes or not? Ashley doesn't give a damn and there's no one actually higher up who seems to have any authority at all. Say what you will about Llambias at least the club had a plan and he at least projected actual authority over the club, we may not have overly agreed with the plan or may have thought it was bullshit and well no one even came close to liking Llambias but good god it was better than the club is now, completely rudderless existing from day to day waiting for Ashleys next daft idea.
  16. looking back at Ashleys management appointment record we have 3 he really choose (full time so not counting Shearer since it was just a desperate throw of the dice), Keegan, JFK and Pardew (Hughton I maintain was an accidental appointment-left in caretaker charge over a prolonged period where he did well and Ashley just went with it but he was never really Ashley's choice) I don't need to explain in anyway why JFK was just wrong on all levels and was all in all a disastrous appointment. Keegan was a bad choice all in all especially with the kind of set up he wanted to put in and its not like there wasn't hints about how he'd feel about it http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/7044692.stm Pardew has been the most successful of Ashley's attempts at appointing a manager (I don't think I'm being outrageous saying that) and I'll leave everyone else to bicker at how successful he's really been. Don't think his time is up yet or anytime soon unless he decides to go himself simply because the only reason I think he survived last season was it will cost an awful lot of money to sack Pardew, however when he goes assuming Ashley is still here lets say I'm not holding out much faith in the quality of the replacement given Ashley's track record at appointments in general.
  17. its the general media opinion, even the good local fellas aren't criticisng him all too much let alone the nationals who glance in our direction every once in a while along with the question what do newcastle fans really expect and we should be happy in mediocrity.
  18. Head in the sand ostrich boy. We can't keep clean sheets and we dont score goals. Once that keeps happening, and you may have noticed it has, the confidence goes and you start to get humped every week. It is called free fall. Every year a team gets dragged Into the mire and the way our season has totally collapsed, that could be us. Who's to say 37 points will be enough. Or even 40 for that matter. ok there's being pessimistic and then this, yes in theory it could happen but its so improbable that 9 teams will improve enough to overtake us over the course of the season that its not even worth considering
  19. this plus they need points now because their final four fixtures are the stuff of nightmares Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal
  20. It's a massive, massive problem. I do agree, but what passion/commitment that is there in the players has been eroded and nullified. The lack of ambition from the top down has washed away a culture which can sustain professional pride, I can't see how it couldn't tbh. I'm not as convinced our first XI is as poor, ability wise, as they've been showing lately. Cabaye is a fucking huge loss though, and our balance has been thrown the fuck off without him. Still, our first XI is only a few players short of being a pretty decent outfit that can compete well with most teams. Well, in theory anyway if not with Pardew. Beneath that, we're a long, long way off a top four squad. I'm beginning to think Cabaye was the only one knitting the side together, he was our outstanding player by a country mile and our form and results has basically been linked to if he was playing and how well he was playing. Without him the entire team is lost and we've lost any and all creativity in the centre of midfield, Tiote's good at what he does but it ain't anything that will be in anyway positive in the final third (we've also missed him badly in the last 2 games) Anita-what the hell does he actually do? He doesn't win the ball he has fuck all ability to create something what is the point of him? Sissoko is what he is, a player with tremendous physical attributes not so many technical attributes. Throw in a lack of natural width full backs who can't defend to save their lives and the strikers the club actually owns being worth the square root of fuck all its not in anyway surprising when you take out the outstanding player in the side and refuse to even bother to replace him that our form nosedives. No offence, but if you've not known that was the case since about Cabaye's third or fourth game for us, you weren't watching carefully enough. I got that he was important but christ I didn't think the entire team would look like poor league 1 players without him there.
  21. one of those partnerships where the combination manages to make both players look a lot worse than they are. Either paired with MYM or Colo would be fine but together.....
