  1. I think Fulham should maybe stop going for inconsistent players full of flair and buy a few decent wingers. Duff still plays for them ffs at least they're going for someone below the age of 30 this time
  2. yet he's put in over 100million above the purchase price, is this right ? Was that because he didn't do the correct due dill before buying? Just another f*** up, got his fingers burnt, tried to spend his way out, got his fingers burnt again. Now we have conservative mediocrity. no, he f***ed up on the purchase price (some may say it's lucky he did as everyone else who looked at the books hightailed it sharpish), after that he put in over 100million. Thought he skipped the financial due dill and there was more debt than he thought so banged in the money post purchase to clear it. also covered the losses that were quite big until very recently. Some of it self inflicted some of it left over from the Shepard era
  3. good grief thats a horrific transfer idea
  4. FIFPro World XI: Neuer; Lahm, Ramos, Silva, Alves; Iniesta, Xavi, Ribery; Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic, Messi. what is that clown Ramos doing in there
  5. Stan Collymore ‏@StanCollymore 10m Rumour. Red Bull are interested in buying Aston Villa Football Club.
  6. Everyone was pretty excited about Cisse since there was the wait in him playing due to ACON
  7. Lee Ryder ‏@lee_ryder 2m Jonas has agreed personal terms with #ncfc #nufc
  8. Don't know what the figures say but on the surface I'd imagine NUFC's numbers must be holding up quite well against the general backdrop of the Premier League, football in general and the other north east clubs. The ticket pricing and family initiatives although undoubtedly a marketing thing are really to be applauded. Are we the cheapest ? A ticket where I sit was 68 quid yesterday and it was sold out. Not bad for a televised Sunday lunch time kick off in troubled economic times. http://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2013/jun/19/premier-league-ticket-prices-club-charge-the-most this says we're one of the cheaper in cheapest season ticket and matchday tickets but nothing on average price
  9. he had but if your going to bet on someone who can create or score a chance out of nothing then its Cabaye
  10. Ashley has no pattern to his madness other than being cheap
  11. a chance to make it look like the big team wasn't in total control can't have that
  12. then why did they sell him hate shit like that
  13. liked the bit about "swinging on the bar" well no, you have to touch the ball or be in the line of vision or cause some interference. it's handy if a sports journo knows the rules of the sport theyare reporting on. that would require them to do actual work instead of reach for tired cliches and we can't have that
  14. papers seem mostly to be leading with Pardew on Pellegrini instead of the game.
  15. sometime around march or april typically
  16. I'd be specific and ban the non north east journos who were at the game

    Papiss Cissé

Hate shit like this. He's already proven there's a player in there that is far from garbage. It's always one extreme or the other. that player hasn't been sighted in coming up on 2 years.
  18. Confused by taking off MYM, when Santon looked fucked while playing LB, exactly where Haidara came on. Weird sub. may have been to get him off the pitch in case the ref thought he'd screwed up over the foul on nasri and looked for a way to send him off
  19. eh it was just poor from them and completely lethal by City no need to hang anyone over it wasn't a catastrophic level of fuck up
  20. http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/jan/12/newcastle-united-defensive-structure-alan-pardew interesting read
  21. the follow up kick was never meant to do anything but hurt him, I don't sympathize with Nasri as he's a bell end but it should have been a red card
