  1. Which happen week in and week out... No they don't. a lot of the goals we concede appear to be down to this, How many times have people slagged off various players already? Debuchy, Santon, Colo and & Mbiwa last night. We must have some of the most error prone defenders in the league. most of the time its the full backs causing the problem since they seem only vaguely aware of the concept of defending (Debuchy is the most consistently guilty of this wandering way out of position and into central midfield at times). Colo and Mbwia aren't bad defenders individually but as a pairing last night we saw they just don't work it needs to be one or the other beside Taylor or Williamson.
  2. They know the basics. could have fooled me on their first half performance
  3. its been a common enough theory on here let alone anywhere else that Ashley is looking to get rid of Ashley, where I disagree with the waiting for an excuse thing to a degree is the simple fact they're trying to force him into walking with the presence of JFK. Seem to recall an article in the mail where theres no cheap release clause in Pardews contract and if he was sacked it would have to be paid in full which obviously Ashley doesn't want to so as it stands its ashley and jfk hovering waiting for him to walk. Or at least thats my theory.
  4. We should be playing as a team and we didn't, it's 11 v 11, not 11 v2. our defenders could start by learning the basics of defending the kind of thing they should already know and not shit their pants at the sight of Lukaku and it would have been a decent start.
  5. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/24355751 So how exactly is the new disciplinary system different to the old one? The system was supposedly changed after the McManaman/Haidara incident but under the new system McManaman would still have faced no retrospective action as one of the officials was looking at the incident! "we've reformed the system aren't we great! its now more difficult than ever to punish these guys for what they did!"
  6. he and colo are probably the best pairing of cbs we have.
  7. Doesn't he? if he isn't telling Santon what positions he should be taking up and which direction he should be showing his man he's not doing his job. at the end of the day Pardew picks these fucking players and he coaches them; they we're highly rated before they came here and have gone backwards ever since. the maths is fucking simple. they're not robots they are capable of thinking for themselves and being supposedly top players they should have some vague clue on the bloody basics

    Alan Pardew

Whereas I look at the pattern of Ashley and fail to see anything but JFK, because anyone not being JFK will involve them working under him which no one who is better than Pardew will.

in what way? saying JFK will be Pardews eventual replacement?

    Alan Pardew

JFK, thats it for any potential replacement and believing anything else is delusional
  11. he and colo can't start together really simple as that
  12. kinda agree with this, there were some shocking errors by Mbwia in particular that gave away goals in the first half and how much can anyone legislate for a player screwing up that badly on his own. We looked a hell of a lot more solid with Williamson on the pitch.
  13. this, a cb partnership is a very important thing and Colo and Mbwia doesn't work
  14. damn well should be based on tonights performance
  15. where the hell is the professional pride and desire from the players?
  16. 1st goal where the hell was Colo and Mbwia? 2nd goal why play the long pointless ball Mbwia? 3rd goal where did the defenders go these aren't tactical errors these are ridiculous individual errors
  17. based on his superb goalscoring form or his spectacular link up play?
