No offence, but that's ridiculous. they don't work together simple as that a cb pairing is more than just simply the 2 most talented its the 2 best balanced and MYM and Colo don't compliment each other.
-
Exactly. And he's scored two goals, f***ing laughable. This is what I DESPISE about the England national team. ONE GOOD GAME!!! Now, he deserves to be called up Surely playing well for at least a season should warrant a call up. Thought international football was the pinnacle of a players career? Really grinds my gears when someone eligible to play for England can have a good game or a good run of form, and suddenly be considered one of the 11 best players in England. it seems to be a general reaction to any young player just starting out who has a good game, similar reaction to Barkley after the 1st game of the season and already he's been linked with every big club going

Colo and MYM should never play together again after that Everton game

Absolutely mental. "In the summer Alisher Apsalyamov was on work experience painting the walls of Cardiff City Stadium, watching their promotion games on his laptop. "Now he's the acting head of recruitment at the age of 23, responsible for the January transfer window that could determine whether Cardiff stay in the Premier League." trade the kid for Kinnear

good idea, can't see many playing ball with this (London clubs in particular I'd say) but some would, can easily see Man City, WBA, Norwich Swansea and Stoke going along with it.
-
could see it if things take a real downturn. Plus players are apparently in conflict with the owner himself so maybe thats a factor

Yep. Funny how if you get a team out of the Championship then go back down, your name becomes mud whilst someone like Poyet who has languished in Championship mid-table for a few years now (one play off semi, hmm great) has had a growing reputation. If he hadn't played for Chelsea and Spurs, nobody would be in the slightest bit interested in him. Compare to Nigel Clough who's in keeping Derby dully mid table consistently over a few years while bringing through some kids at the same time as rather large reduction in whats available for him to spend I'd say is better than Poyets ones at Brighton because of the difference in budget but if any premier league side let alone Sunderland (from our POV) appointed Clough they'd be a laughing stock.

we've hired someone to replace JFK? Because 3rd rate is generous for him

Did Sir John Hall make a racist joke about Les Ferdinand ages ago?

Hughton or Jol seem the most likely, both sets of fans seem to be losing patience with each of them and neithers football has been all that impressive this season. Jols probably the most likely with the whole new owner thing hanging over him. Could have seen him being sacked now if they had lost vs stoke.

can't we lock this thread until the next game or something?
-
If you really think that you know nowt about either club. Dogleash is an absolute legend and icon as a player and a manager at LFC, JFK is what to us again? Come on man, even if you are just trying to compare their ability as a footballing asset to each club right now there is absolutely no comparison. Dogleash is widely respected at the club, with the fans, last time out won a cup, bigs the club up, understands it inside out, JFK does what to us again? all thats grand but last time Dalglish had the same role the crowd hounded out Hodgson and were calling for him to take charge.
-
stop fucking up your own tournament! with 16 teams it was easily a miles better tournament than the world cup but you done fucked it up you fucking corrupt moron

so about that europe makes you tired thing........................

neither did I til last year but he did play for the u19's for us so there you go its not exactly obscure plucked from nowhere. He's not a bad keeper anyway and our selection of goalkeepers isn't exactly great anymore
-
impressive
-
how different last season might have ended with him in the ranks. Ah well better late than never
-
good to see he's got his head down and focused on playing well. Could easily have gone the way of sulking for a season.
-
excellent goal

so if I'm reading the 2nd one right (I'm open to correction) we are reasonably good at restricting chances but defense is cocking up on the ones that to happen
