its still insane they spent €100m on Bale when they didn't need him. Pure Perez signing if ever there was one
-
tbh you could say that about Arsenal as well and these are the 3 main challengers as it stands. Frankly I expect City at least to pull their shit together to win it

lets not think about it

apparently Tony Pulis was spotted with the Derby CEO today at the game...................honestly he's appointed Brian Clough will be spinning in his grave
-
better question, will Wilshire because if your picking between the two its no contest as it stands.

http://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/article/derby-county-club-statement-1083327.aspx morons, never had a penny to spend and always mid table with little to no relegation trouble

been quietly impressed with Hull and in particular Robbie Brady. Not the most exciting going forward but Bruce does know how to organise a defense to be hard to beat.

we have no other natural winger full stop in our side apart from Sammy (unless you count Obertan and counting him as a footballer is being optimistic) he's the only guy we have who will provide any real width and we will need to use that in certain games when everyone else piling up in the middle doesn't work. Frankly based on his performances thus far I'd say he's pushing for a start in the league and put Remy up front instead of Cisse

christ I know the players egos probably need a bit of a pick me up after months of Di Canio mocking them but thats too far the other way. Also doesn't reflect well on Short himself if he hasn't a clue who to appoint.

Not worthy of a thread - 2018 FIFA World Cup edition
jdckelly replied to OzzieMandias's topic in Football
you know in a normal non corrupt organisation this would be the trigger to immeaditly pull out of Qatar but then again in a normal non corrupt organisation it wouldn't have went there in the first place -
we could not show up, we only lose 3-0 in that case I think

Flamini is very limited and nowhere near as good as Arteta. Sorry but that's a ridiculous post iyam. Flamini fits better into the holding role than Arteta ever did. Different way of playing the holding role..... that's like saying De Jong is better than De Rossi. Just because Arteta isn't flying around like a bull in a china shop doesn't mean what he does isn't effective. I wonder how Arsenal managed to have the 2nd best defence in the league last year and the most points of anyone in 2013 with Arteta, Mertesacker and Koscielny as their defence to midfield triangle Because the way some are talking on here you would think they are crap. I'm certainly not saying Arteta is crap by any means and in pure talent he's probably better than Flamini but Flamini's style of play just seems to compliment the side better than Arteta did and Arsenal just look better now than they did last season.
