I'd be shocked if he moved anywhere this window, why would any player 6 months from a very profitable free transfer choose to go now?

Mark Chapman is miles better than Colin Murray, not that's rather difficult

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2261817/Arsenal-Manchester-United-financial-fair-play-plot-ruin-Premier-League--Martin-Samuel.html?ITO=socialnet-twitter-newcastlemail&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=socialnet-twitter-newcastlemail&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed while I dislike linking a Martin Samuel piece theres a bit in here about the prems FFP idea and who's behind it thats interesting, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs are the brains behind making the prem clubs comply with UEFA's FFP rules (all clubs must at least break even, no owner investment on a significant level) which is an obvious move to remove City and Chelsea from the equation. Not sure how I feel about it since it will likely mean that all CL clubs have a ridiculous and permanent advantage

He's nee James McFadden, admittedly. Yes, he plays for them plays is such a subjective term, he gets paid by them yes

You got my hopes up. We haven't had a true bagel yet. You got one perfect score and that's it! The Wigan game. Don't feel too bad though - the average score this week was about 5.2 ah forgot that wigan equalised for some reason

I'm counting that as a dreaded vote of confidence

And Wenger doesn't listen to any of them. However, they are very similar in what they coach and how they coach it and they're all geared towards producing 1 style of football. They do it so each coach can oversee a smaller group of players and provide more feedback. Pretty much 'class size/teacher' type of deal. They work a lot on passing, movement and movement of the football '3 second averages' over the course of the training session is what they aim for (which again is why they have all those coaches keeping an eye on their group so they can see if a player is retaining the ball longer than 3 seconds or not). Interesting, didn't know that. NO way on earth our coaching is upto scratch. Think Wenger got pissy about Bould getting credit at the start of the season re Arsenals sudden ability to defend so he apparently kinda sidelined him and suddenly Arsenal can't defend again

should just retire tbh

Nope. empty seat on the bench because of it i do believe

Tim Vickery on the world football phone in (if you don't listen already you should) mentioned this thing obviously and that the Argie press had nowt on the wife bit but that this is a kinda last ditch effort from Colo to get the move since the San Lorenzo board thought it would be easy to just get Ashley to let him go for free and ran into a brick wall when they actually talked to NUFC. Quite how they thought it would be easy is difficult to understand

Also footballers have a limited career span unlike most other workers. I think most accept they are over paid but that's footballs fault. the thing is while the pay they get is ludicrous (at the top level, down the leagues its a different story) but the income they generate for clubs is also ludicrous so why shouldn't they get their fair share of the pie unless those people want it to all go to those wonderful board members all the time.

clearly distracted by the thought of soon being in the same dressing room as Cabaye

seem incapable of being good for a full game this season and must seem contractually obliged to defend bad for a while
