not for the summer but obrien on short term loan? seen that mentioned today. and on the summer why not matt taylor not really getting his game at bolton, could be a useful squad member
-
not a bad manager him and hes desperate for a way back into the game Aye I think it's vaguely believable tbh, expecially since we might only be talking 9 games. Could be any one of the usual suspects though in reality. Always had O'Leary for a bit of a chequebook manager though, he won't have that at Hull. did a reasonable job at villa with deadly dougs tight fisted ways though he was always bleating about it, every manager is a chequebook one (even arsene wenger those kids don't all suddenly appear in his acedemy without a wad of cash going somewhere) its just the extent of how much

We had a much better balanced team under Keegan and we would have beaten Hughtons team 8 or 9 times out of 10. The league was stronger back then and we played some stunning football both home and away. This team has been very poor away from home more often than not and that couldn't be said about Keegans team who were on a different level. We had a good defence, we had a midfield which was both functional and exciting to watch as they could break up play and actually find a team mate with the ball, we actually had pace and creativity. Up front we had an attack that would rip this team a new arse especially once Andy Cole arrived. Thank you for spoiling my fun. Still had more points ... i think (couldn't be arsed to check). we do as far as i know

Put it this way, I'd be sickened if Phil Brown was Newcastle manager. i think we'd all throw up if he got the job

7-1 win nolan hat trick to celebrate being the best player in the championship (allegedly) -
That will cost more then the money of compensation that he will want. It's a shame though, we now have to change our reeason of wanting Hull to go down from him, to just not liking them because they stayed up instead of us. its now that i dont give a damn about hull as they're just a tiny club that will vanish down the leagues when they are relegated in may
-
hull could pay his compo in a years supply of fake tan i suppose

beckham=media darling so no prizes for guessing tomorrows and the rest of the weeks headlines in the sport pages, might just have to ignore all media outlets for the week, the ac milan man u beckham fest was bad enough to deal with

Just another one of Keane's Irish buys that would never be good enough for the Premier League. There's a reason he cost £160,000. also the reason he bought colin healy in the summer to save cork city fc, didnt work really got wound up a month ago
-
that was some strike from adam johnson alright but that matched showed why city wont get 4th
-
when your managerial credentials are in doubt seize on any little distraction to divert attention away from the fact your a fraud and a shit manager (see also spat with lafa)
-
id like it but im not really going to care if we dont get it
-
the only possible logic in it was planning for next season in championship. why appoint someone who failed in the championship with wednesday
-
I think we can afford to get rid of one of Nolan, Barton & preferably Smith. Would hope we get a new midfielder this summer, so new midfielder, Guthrie, Barton & Nolan would do me. for me id prefer to have one to replace butt and leave it at that, i think the rest might have some use in prem and squad size is needed
-
im making this the alan smith thread. http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/football/754432/SMITH-WILLING-TO-TAKE-PAY-CUT-TO-STAY.html apparently willing to take pay cut to finish his carrer here, also apparently the wage limit will be 30k a week for new signings but thats guess work
-
butt shola and pancrate, the rest we may need as we add to squad size not reduce
-
check out parkers goal today on motd, sensational strike
-
if you cant win dont lose decent point, boro might yet get playoffs if they can keep that up

4-0 bolton
-
meh the forest score is the important one
-
3-0 bolton, how do you go from losing 4-0 to sunderland to this and how do wigan go from beating liverpool to losing 3-0 to bolton
-
ok now its time for an emergency cb loan
