Mackems was good but it was a giggly type of feeling due to the gradual nature of it and us coasting for 90. That equaliser today was absolute ecstasy. That single moment is probably the most exhilarating high I've ever experienced in a match due to the sudden nature of the 4th.

Mine we're like that since the 2nd went in. Was such an amazing atmosphere.

I thought he was a vital part of the comeback tbh.

Honestly, what do you see of Best that makes you impressed? Honestly, he's f***ing slow, terrible header, sure he can put the odd goal away and so can I ffs the chances he's had are easy a hell. He's awful, sorry, but that's the Best we got. Might be something to do with the fact the rest of our strikers have problems with this?

Was thinking leaving the ground "8 goals at my end, f***ing hell!"
-
He should of breyed Diaby when he had the chance. What a game for him to come over for though!
-
f*** me he gets excited like Think i was just as bad I wasn't sat where I normally was because my Grandad couldn't make it so I sat in his seat. Inbetween 2 old blokes I'd not spoke to ever and when Tiote's went in turned and screamed in both their faces.

Thought the choice of post-match music was fitting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRtW1MAZ32M

Is there a higher res version available? I'd imagine the club will have a couple on Flickr later.

Give him a break, got some crazy bargains

Anyone else love the irony of Carew's goal being handball when Cuntermole caught the ball on the line earlier in the season against, you guessed it, Stoke. Karmatastic!

These E-Mails actually go to someone connected to the player? Just asked Aliadiere if he fancys a game of 5-a-side next week...
-
At least it sounds as if he'll be happy to sign should survival be achieved.
-
Surely the only positive thing is that it's signed? Anything else just adds to the delay. Pardew's gone and bought got some pens on loan from WH Smith so Barton can sign the contract. I think he might have just nicked one from the Post Office upstairs actually. I'm not ITK or anything, but I've been told they were actually taken from Argos.

Quinn slagging off fans who choose to watch in pubs... brilliant way to win them over and getting them back into the SoS. http://www.safc.com/news/20110204/quinns-message-for-pub-viewers_2256213_2285484 Second time in a matter of months he's made a statement criticising attendances; must be really worrying him.

Guv speculated the other day that we'd signed some lad from Rennes; we then speculated it would be Marveaux as his contracts up and now Freddie Boswell on Twitter today's papers agree. Don't know much about him but apparently trailed by ManUtd and Chelsea in the past according to wiki.

A team should sell one of their current best players to open the door for superior ones to come in, surely? AC as aplayer was going to limit our ambitions in the future because he's an average striker who is only suited to a one dimensional style of play. The timing of the sale was shocking to but the opportunity was too big to miss. Te second point is moot tbh but recent windows suggest the club can do smart business. Sorry but Carroll didn't limit our play, rather made the very best of what limited play we are capable off. If we're being truthful, bar Ben Arfa who's not played 3 full games this season, Barton's been the only bit of creativity in our midfield and Carroll made the most of that.
-
IIRC he's normally spot on.
-
"Err, Hitler mate.." Still can't get over how much that bloke looks like Ryan Giggs every time I see one of these as well.
-
The sale of Carroll potentially sets the club back years though, we should of built a team around him. Now we're left with a bit of money that won't be reinvested properly and whatever spending will be done is being overseen by a bunch of clowns.
