The long and short of it is after 7 league games. Playing 4 matches against the current top 6, with injuries and suspensions and winning games against 'lesser' opposition of whom we had no guarantee to beat. And those were the types of games which inevitably must have lead to Hughton's sacking. (Blackpool/Stoke/Wigan/Blackburn) He has took us from 11th place to 7th place. In my eyes that is a good job.

I've started to notice a few more tweaks over the last few weeks under Pardew which i'm impressed with. Notably yesterday i was amazed Jonas put a couple of first time balls in. And i've said it before but the urgency seems to have improved on the ball.
