Absolutely. There’s enough negativity around as it is without us turning on each other for opinions. Good post. The truth is, none of us know what is the best solution for the long term. My view is different to others. And others are different to mine. C’est la vie

Call me a crack pot, but I don't get how you don't get genuine Toon fans actively want us to lose in the current situation? What does winning achieve but an extension of Ashley's regime? Does avoiding relegation in 2019/20 bring us any closer to Ashley leaving? What does losing achieve? Relegation with the possibility of Ashley losing money (and possibly bringing his regime closer to an end)? Personally, I'm hoping we lose 0-10 every match. Ashley killed my club, now I want to see his destroyed. Yeah that's worked really well in the past hasn't it. As I said before boycott, don't buy any merchandise, don't watch the tv, but to actually want your team to lose I think the difference is we’ve bounced back from relegations at the first time of asking. Add into this we had the highest ever average crowds in the second division. We need to go down, stay down. No TV money and tiny gates means no money for Ashley. That’s what it’ll take. So yes. I’d actively support us losing to ensure I get my club back. What’s the point in the club in its current guise?

Five years and counting for me. It gets easier, but I just admit I am looking froward to the day I have my own seat again

This. That would only harden views , we need to win people over to our way of thinking . Mind you some kind of non violent direct action ala Extinction Rebellion might be worth a go ... whos up for superglueing themselves to a turnstile on matchday ? Would cause absolute havoc People have tried the softly softly approach with Sack Pardew and Ashley Out protests. I remember being told to f*** off and be careful what I wish for when I held up a Sack Pardew card and offered outside ffs Why should the 'support the team' crowd always get their own way and be as violent as they like to others with a different opinion, yet people striving for change have to play nicely all the time?

No-one mention Hitzfeldgate In fairness that was a shot in the dark from us lot rather than us faking shit. Seems like yesterday too. Must be near 15 years ffs. Too early for me, though I do remember people going on about it. Did the forum try and get in touch with Hitzfeld to be the new manager or something?

They’re behind doors iirc

I can see it being Allardyce. I really can. For those too young to remember - he made Pardew look competent. Fortunately, we only had to endure him for 8 months.

I’m laughing but it’s true Proper got me too n'all

All joking a side - there should be a strategy. Pubs offering ST holders discounted drinks during the game and offering the match on TV. Anything to make as many people stay away

Another stellar reference when we’re all feeing down

I've been 'done' for five years. I haven't bought a ticket in that. However, I always follow how we're doing and I'm always on this place - which keeps me and my NUFC bloodline ticking over. Today is another nail in the coffin and surely it has to be your final straw (if you've not reached it yet). You have to make sacrifices in the hope we'll get the change we want. Still going won't force any change. You can do it

Can you summarise? Update Companies House Not enough for love for this

Today can fuck off. I’m off to bed

Did this ever happen with Staveley? Tbf that had an awful lot of press that amounted to nothing

It's hilarious. Just enjoy the ride. Standard N-O. I love it. It’s not good for your mental health like. One minute you’re up the next minute you’ve given up hope N-O

If true. I’ll be getting my ST back

15 years since we drew 1-1 with Wolves on the last day of the season to finish 5th. How times have changed - a great report by NUFC.com at the time

Surely a Liverpool fan would want Leicester to win?

Metropolitan boroughs came into effect in 1974. The metro system used the original rail loop of North Tyneside and was opened in 1980. So I’m not sure where that logic comes from...

Genuinely baffled. I’m not sure if it was because I was watching on telly?? But the free kick for the third looked like one of the clearest dives I’ve seen? It was a dead rubber for us - but that foul was inexcusable. Add in the hand ball for our goal, and various ‘fouls’ given for them and the inconsistencies when we were brought down (and not given), it really makes you wonder what the ref was thinking.
