Glory hunter. The building behind the Camp Nou is a maternity hospital, so hundreds of thousands of barcelonians(?) have been born in his shade.

Would be the most Partridgeshrug.gif moment. We'd just start our own goddamn international football organization. With playoffs. All international football tournaments have playoffs already.

For now. Think it be impossible to have a re-vote for the 2018 World Cup. But for 2022 there is still time. uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuUUUUSA! x4 or 5. First the nazis, then the communists, now FIFA. Yanks always come to save the world

Putin will start WWIII if we take the WC away.

Oh please please please, arrest the head of the Spanish FA. I will personally go to his house and do a citizen arrest on him, with a healthy dose of police brutality included.
-
It looks like they are going mostly after CONCACAF members; I guess that's because the headquarters are in the US and that makes US justice competent.
-
I think they are a bit butthurt for not being given the 2022 WC, but it's all in a good cause.

I think the fact there's been arrests it's a pretty noteworthy change from business as usual. As I said in the Qatar/Russia thread, my wet dream is that the DoJ goes all RICO on FIFA's arses.

Hope the DoJ goes all RICO on FIFA tbf. -
Yeah, it's awful. It doesn't even comply with UEFA rules so we can't wear it in the CL. What a clusterfuck.

Can actually see my house

That would piss me off if it happened. And I doubt it will happen.

No. He's flopped at Sevilla; next season will probably be last chance saloon on loan somewhere else.

Here Mike, mission accomplished: http://www.deportivo-la-coruna.com/pics/regular/Teresa-Herrera_2010_001.jpg Now you can sell with peace of mind.

I don't know; say we and Madrid are trying to get Gundogan (been linked to both clubs in our press). Madrid can buy him in the summer, but we have to tell him to wait until January. That's a disadvantage. But well, we've ourselves to blame for that.
-
Yeah, I'm surprised myself by how things have gone for us. I guess if Messi turns up that's all we need. Suárez has been majestic too once he's hit form, what a player. Xavi and Alves going leaves us with two big holes in the squad that we won't be able to fill until January. The idea is that we'll tie up deals for January, but I'm not sure how many players of calibre will agree to a winter move. We'll need another striker if Pedro leaves; guess we'll take a punt on Munir and see if he's up to it.

That's because we're s*** in the transfer market. The academy bailed us out indeed. This season, if you don't count Vermaelen we've actually bought well I think. Ter Stegen, Bravo, Rakitic, Suárez have all been outstanding. Even Mathieu has been allright at the end. Funnily this 14 year period comprises both our best and worst periods in history, trophy-wise. What a weird club we are.

this covers a decades worth, suggests an average of 20m euros more per season give or take http://www.goal.com/en/news/1717/editorial/2013/07/08/4096370/revealed-how-madrid-have-spent-300m-more-on-transfers-than Looks about right to me.
-
Madrid have spent more than us; I'm not talking a significant magnitude (IIRC in the past six years we've spent around 500m and they have spent around 750m), but they have. And yes, we're quite bad in the transfer market.

Real Madrid: 12 managers in 14 years.

To be honest I just thought that dude had an unnaturally large arm.

"Are Chelsea favorites to retain the title?". The season finished yesterday FFS

I would say that Gimnastic Tarragona and Lleida are historically more important than Girona. Yeah, definitely.

New Real Madrid manager to be announced next week. Obviously waiting on Carver then.
