Appointing legendary midfielders that have only managed a B side never works.

Yeah, he was very timid in his first two seasons, but under Martino he looked way more confident and had an excellent year. Can't say I'm unhappy about trading him for Suárez, but he deserves the success he's getting at Arsenal.

It looks like they want to keep Carver as a coach or assistant. I can't think of a more uncomfortable environment that being demoted and having to work for the guy that took my place; if this happened to me I would resign.
