Shit week so far, salvaged by 3 clean sheets at the back plus ben arfa - 1/2 everywhere else. Need Hazard/Captain Sturridge to do something to lift me up.
-
Aye, decent PL debut. Reading his wiki, he has refused to play for Belgium so far, preferring Albania apparently. Is he mental like Fair enough if it's a patriotic thing. I don't know how good he is, but would probably end up raking up many more caps for the latter since there's so much talent around the Belgian squad nowadays. I'm always reminded of Thomas Christiansen, who picked Spain over Denmark and finished his international career with two caps to his name.

Is Sturridge's a proper injury or an international week injury?

Wow, FIFA docked Mallorca 3 points for not releasing Dos Santos for a friendly last season. It clashed with the last La Liga fixture where Mallorca still had hopes of survival. Bit cuntish from Mexico imho.
-
We threw his name around but as you say we weren't sure without cheating. Who's the other one though?

For this trivia purposes There aren't that many player/manager EC double winners though, those first 3 and Pep are actually the only ones me and my friend could come up with.
-
Pep only has 3: 1 as player, 2 as manager.

Was having a conversation with a mate today about the most successful individuals as both player and manager, and we ended up trying to come up with the individual that has won more times the European Cup as both player and manager, having at least won it once as either. Ended up with: Rijkaard 4: 3 as player (Milan*2, Ajax) and 1 as manager (Barça) Cruyff 4: 3 as player (Ajax) and 1 as manager (Barça) Ancelotti 4: 2 as player (Milan), 2 as manager (Milan) As the top ones we could come up with. Is there somebody else we're forgetting?

Was going to be a big club cunt after reading this but... nah.
-
It's ManU though, which will probably be one of the 5 most played teams.
-
Would this endanger your seeding should you fail to clinch the top spot in your group? EDIT: Seems unlikely, not that many second tier Euro teams above you.
-
Isn't Shola due his too? Pretty sure I read that on here months ago.

50k for a reserve keeper's testimonial That's what I envy from English football.
-
Hierro got 1 in 3 while playing as holding mid for Spain, Lampard's club record is better though.
-
Still think that Eden Hazard has to be one of the best footballer names of all time. Also a Pokemon.

Not even remotely funny. Really down about this whole thing. The guy is running football for me at the moment. To be honest, I love having footballers from my club in the WC. I used to live vicariously through the likes of Romario or Rivaldo when Spain was utter shit in this thing.

Those pictures always remind me of when he was promoted to the senior squad. Greasy haired, injury-prone, short and lithe winger with lots of fancy moves. He was soooo Argentinian Too squeaky clean nowadays.
-
I think he just meant to say he would face the injury "with a clear mind", not to let it depress him, etc... and failed at language.
