Playing devil's advocate, but why would that viewpoint be staggeringly wrong? A drastic improvement on this season is probably possible, even with Pardew. Such arrogance is unwarranted, considering you've been claiming we're 100% down for a while
-
Who will have us challenging for top four annually? As depressing as it is, nobody will under the current regime.
-
By bet would be: mackem, didn't understand the poll, and Ian W :-) Never gets old that. Just out of interest, what did you go for? If you voted at all that is. I haven't voted yet, so many unknowns. As I said on the previous page, I have time for the stability argument but also looking more and more doubtful that Pardew is going to generate another successful season. FWIW I think his genuine ability is somewhere in between the last two seasons. He's not as bad as everyone thinks, but he has lacked the ability to turn this season around. If he was sacked I wouldn't be sad about it. Aye, exactly how I feel.. I don't think he is as bad as what this season has been BUT I don't think he is good enough to take us forward. As with all things, there is a middle-ground. Pardew is no Mourinho, nor is he a Megson. At this stage I'd be happy to see a replacement come in if there is someone clearly superior lined up, but if he stays and we invest heavily in the summer, so be it.

Need depth and/or added quality in all positions bar between the sticks. Going to be a long summer.

QPR 1 - 2 Newcastle United - 12/05/13 - Post match reaction from page 68

We will if Pardew's left in charge We probably won't like. Just sayin'. -
No, we're not Chelsea. I won't be sad the see the back of Pardew, although if/when it happens his replacement needs to be an inspiring choice (i.e no Martin Jols). Change of manager alone definitely won't have us threatening the top 6 again though. Far too many of these players are mediocre, cowardly, or a minging combination of both. Agreed. We've actually got a legitimate reason to make them. An excuse to transform into bed sheet mongs? Results are the only thing that will be taken into consideration by the board. A lynch mob display is unnecessary, and won't happen.

An absolutely vile human but I'd happily suck peanut butter off his foreheed.

So defensive. Wigan have been keeping us up for months man. It's been an awful season, but claiming we were going to stay up doesn't make one an 'ostrich'. Silly.

I've never wanted us to get beat in my life, if that's what it takes to get rid of the fraud then so be it. ad infinitum.

Never in doubt. Horrible match, but did the job. Weird considering I was telt we were 100% down on here a week back Glad to see the back of this season. Hopefully we'll go into next season with a better manager and players who give a shit. Not confident like. -

Not a tackler. Therefore he has no function, even against a train wreck team. Anita would almost certainly be raped by QPR's wingers at fullback. MYM makes sense. -

Pleased with that selection. 1-0 win. Ben Arfa. -
Agree with Ickey. Have always hoped that when we upgrade we go for a more inspiring choice than Jol. Could be comfortably argued that Pardew's achievement last year was more impressive than anything Jol has managed in his career. A better long-term option please.

Why exactly? Because of the fact that he's been capable of making league one players Premier League players, he's extremely underrated around here, it's unbelievable. And as for not having the right players, the Everton squad is a hell lot better than having to play Di Santo, Caldwell, McArthur, Stam, Ramis... Which regular Wigan starters are 'League One' players exactly? The man is leading his team to relegation, is a bellend, and looks like an eagle. If he goes to Everton, he will cover them in his mediocre management juice. Let it happen. Ridiculous post considering youre sensitivity to Pardew getting any jip like. Sigh. I'm not sensitive towards any well-reasoned Pardew jip. I am a producer of Pardew jip myself. This was regarding Martinez though. If you disagree, please give reasons as to why, rather than simply dismissing my post as ridiculous

He's not leading them into relegation, if anything he has been leading them out of relegation for the past seasons. Names and D.O.Bs of the League One players pls.

Or this is random conjecture and the retirement of Alex Ferguson will have absolutely no effect on the management situation at Newcastle United. Don't be depressed.

Yes, I hope everyone goes there and doesn't support the team but instead abuse Pardew for 90+ minutes. That's what I said, exactly. I'm sorry, that exaggeration was most devilish of me. But seriously, at which point in the match should fans switch from support to mass show of displeasure for Pardew? The floor is all yours. -

You hope that instead of going to the match to support the team, the fans turn up simply to abuse the manager and call for his head? Not sure if serious. We all want better, but that is an utterly preposterous suggestion. -
You still want him as our manager going forward? If better is available, get them in. All I'm saying is that I don't want to kill Pardew and his family in a dramatic display of my support for DA TOON. Neither does anyone else they just want him replaced going into next season. Just strikes me as slightly odd the fact that every other post contains some reference to him being a MASSIVE CHILD-MURDERING CUNT. Now I'm no prude, and perhaps don't fully understand the pain the man is putting us through, but the anger is weird to my uninitiated eyes. (Disclaimer: I have regularly been swept up in Internet mob hatred) This is one step away from "It's only a game lol" What is it that you don't understand about the disdain for Pardew? OTT tongue in cheek comments about wanting him deed aside. It is? Okay. If you think genuine hatred of the man is normal, I'm not sure any answer I give would be satisfactory. I'm sure there is a middle ground between 'its only a game' and 'Alan pardew is a CUNT', but nevermind. As you were. Not sure what you're getting at. Everything in that Ferguson post is fact. It betrays no emotion. He is miserable. He is a drunk. He has poisoned. Areet then. A quick search of "Foluwashola Fergie Cunt" http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,79195.msg3376797.html#msg3376797 What is this evidence attempting to prove your honour? I started this debate in an attempt to understand the innate hatred of Alan Pardew, not the renowned cunt Alex Ferguson. His cuntery is already beyond the stage of argument. For me, at least, Pardew's isn't.
