  1. HTT is canny enough (I enjoy reading his stuff on here anyway) but he's clearly a bit of a fantasist and it's been obvious for around 9 months that he has no source close to the takeover and it's just a bit of a wind up now. More fool those who still take his takeover patter seriously tbh.
  2. Yeah but all our players got Long COVID whilst every other teams players only got the standard one.
  3. Schar looked like one of the best Centre halves in the league under Benitez. Says it all that every player who played under both Benitez and now Bruce has regressed except for the overworked goalkeeper.
  4. Her rage at wasting MP time during a pandemic is a bit rich aswell, she openly admits she sent a letter the 1st time round. I’m quite sure they have enough spare time to deal with multiple issues, and likewise govt ministers. She's on there for the sole purpose of boosting her social media profile, pure and simple and shes succeeded there I'll give her that. She's a solicitor (calls her lself a lawyer to make it sound more interesting even though Lawyer is just an American term for Solicitior). My wife is a Solicitor as well. She's been qualified in excess of 20 years now and owns her own practice. Her main specialist areas are Family, probate and to a lesser extent, criminal. If you were unfairly dismissed from your job or you wanted to claim for an accident you'd had she would politely direct you to a specialist in that field as, in her words, she wouldn't necessarily know a great deal more than you do as it's not a part of Law she practices in. Similarly the red Michelle lass won't necessarily know a great deal more than your average, but fairly well educated person in the street, about legal matters in this takeover (which is why she got mostly everything wrong from March-August and tried to compensate for that by using fairly raunchy Profile photos to make up for her lack of and real expertise to keep people hanging onto her words). There’s literally nothing weird at all about a solicitor calling themselves a lawyer. The US term for a lawyer is usually attorney. You are incorrect. In America a Lawyer is trained in the field of general law and will offer advice in accordance with the law and an Attorney is qualified and also licensed to represent a client in court. It's not simply a case of them being two different terms. Happy to agree to disagree on this one! I am lawyer in England and I work for a US law firm. In England a solicitor can still call themselves a lawyer - this is 100% not an issue at all. In the US, the terms lawyer and attorney are used interchangeably - no distinction is generally made between the terms. But let’s leave it there - this is even more of a waste of time than the takeover debate. OK but you're wrong, now let's get back on topic!

My apologies as I haven't seen her Bio for a while. She used to use the word Lawyer all the time when trying to underline her own importance.

  8. It's that Red Rose Michelle lass on twitter who kicked off most of the animosity towards Keith. She has a band of desperate male followers who'll back her regardless in some pathetic attempt to get noticed or a like off her. Thing is what people forget is that she got almost everything wrong the 1st time around and when someone put her CV onto twitter the other week it showed that she's a very inexperienced solicitor with no experience in this field.
  9. If there was no challenge we'll hear on Monday. Otherwise we'll hear by the end of the month. Would fit in with HTT’s claim.... Or someone else has worked out the sames timeline and HTT is gong off that rather than proper intel. But in HTT we trust (in the absence/never existence of Mimms) I’m not on Twitter and don’t follow any other shite, I know I’m a gob shite and have pissed a few off with the 3.00pm Friday stuff but I do genuinely have a source which I genuinely believe is credible and as much as I’m a gobshite, all joking aside I would never mislead people on here other than the 3.00pm shite which I’d like to believe most in here know is, well, me being a bit of a piss taker. I have been told we could see some very positive news by Monday on the legal side. My source works with PCP and another source is high up in government although not my own source, it’s a 3rd party one, but has delivered before and again when this is all done and dusted I’d like to think some on here will vouch for that who I’ve shared info with. Interestingly the 3rd party source is saying nothing at all which leads me to believe we are in the sensitive stage of the takeover where it’s not if, but when, and this could be very soon. Not 3.00pm Friday next week soon, but the end of this month or sometime February? I’m 100% confident anyway... Haha you're a fantasist mate!
  10. Fulham look a cracking side here and the more likely to win this.
  11. More evidence for De Marco and co to show our takeover was subjected to far stricter scrutiny than any previous. I would have thought the government would have pushed for them to accept the bid. Premier league went to them.... I think they would, but the point is why did they feel they had to go to them. It’s meant to be a confidential process and if scrutiny of our takeover has been shown to be different to others, it all plays into the narrative that we have been treat differently. I expect to tell them that they are going to reject the bid and wanted to explain why (Piracy) or get more info on the buyers. Also we probably have been treated differently but I can't think of any club being bought while at the same time running an illegal sports stations that steals games. I'm still confused by this. Is it PIF that are illegally streaming games? Is this still going on?
  12. Surely they could just say there was nothing to stop us sacking the useless clown and appointing a competent manager regardless?
  13. I used to get the urge to put my foot through the screen whenever Pardew was interviewed, mostly towards the end of his reign here, but with Bruce it's on a different level of hate altogether. I hated him before he even arrived, I was devastated when he was appointed, and I hate him even more now. Just so frustrating that 99% of us knew exactly how it would all pan out yet the idiot who owns the club thought it would be a good idea to pay Sheff Wed £3m to get him here.
  14. I say I don't care any more but the truth is I always will. I don't even watch us on TV and I say that's because I don't care but it's really because I can't bear watching NUFC under Steve Bruce. I could switch it on but I know I'd get myself too worked up so it's easier not to bother and then just catch up with all the anger on social media. What a club eh?
  15. We're on course for a 42 point season if we replicate the 1st half of the season in the 2nd half. However that isn't going to happen. Bruce is done, the players look done with playing for him and I can see us picking up another dozen points at the most, and that's being optimistic. Would put us on 31 and means we'd be relying on the bottom 3 being utterly shit to survive. Frustratingly a change of manager now, not in 5 or 6 games time, and we could banish any relegation fears in an instant. Depends if Ashley has learned anything from 15/16 or not.
  16. While I agree with this surely the noises coming out are that we’ll get an answer one way or another this month or next It needs to be soon and decisions need to be made quickly regarding changing the manager whether that's Ashley or if PIF can have an input. Make no mistake we are on a one way track to relegation here and if that scuppered the takeover it would go down as the costliest relegation in the history of football!
  17. If we go down there's no way the takeover happens. Aside from the fact they've said they wouldn't buy us as a Championship club, you'd have the small matter of the clubs value being halved on relegation. No way is Ashley parting with his £300m asset for around £150m even if the Saudis did have a change of heart and were still interested. He'd gamble on us coming straight back up and then starting negotiations again.
  18. I bet all those clowns who used to constantly compare Bruce to Rafa, trying to say there was no difference between the two, are feeling rather foolish these days. I would mock them but they all seem to have disappeared.
  19. If we had any leaders in that team they should be speaking to the hierarchy about removing the manager because, Darlow apart, every single one of them has regressed since he arrived.
  20. Watch something else. Check the score at half time and again at full time then come on here and read about how bad it was, safe in the knowledge that you didn't waste 90 minutes of your life watching it. That's what I do.
  21. This has the potential to be the poorest quality football match in Premier League history. Once again I won't be watching.
