  1. Hopefully today marks the day when his luck finally started to run out. Can't wait to see how his mate Edwards suger-coats this.
  2. A successful Newcastle United, and by successful I mean winning trophies on a regular basis similar to what Man City have done over the past Decade, could attract gates of 65k+ no problem at all. We averaged over 51k in the Championship, which could have been higher as many of the games sold out, so I don't think another 14k or so would be too difficult to achieve of we were constantly one of the best teams in the Country. I love SJP but, as with the club itself, I've become a bit detached from it this past 10-15 years so I wouldn't be against a new stadium provided it was in either Leazes Park, Town Moor or the Arena site and the capacity was at least 65k giving us the 2nd biggest stadium once again.
  3. Maybe it’s because he speaks to the people involved, which would give him a lot more insight than us lot. And to be fair to him he always says hopeful as opposed to confident. So did Caulkin and we all know how that turned out. He'll be hopeful as a supporter but I wouldn't be reading much else into what he says.
  4. As long as people can vouch for him then I'm more than happy to take on his bet (providing he can prove he's paid up on all the others he's lost of course). That is £500 that the takeover will be completed by January 31st. He says it will, I say it won't.
  5. It's funny but at the same time I wonder if he is quite the full shilling when I read some of his posts. I'd hate to think I was taking advantage of someone who maybe has some sort of mental disability however slight it might be. Wouldn't sit well with me at all. Has anyone actually met him in person? Is he ok, if you know what I mean?
  6. Mate you must have lost a small fortune in charity bets this year. I'm not taking any more off you! Didn’t you bottle out of a wager Can't remember but if I did I shouldn't have, cos I would have won! What's stopping you this time then? Nothing at all. My only stipulation is that he shows me proof that he's paid up all the losing wagers he's had on here this season as I'm yet to see that. Once he does I'm more than happy to proceed.

  9. If you really believe that then why are you here? I've been posting on here for over 10 years I reckon so I can't see the relevance to your point. Anyone thinking any credible ITK is going to come onto Newcastle Online to share their wisdom is pretty gullible tbh.
  10. Mimms is no more ITK than anyone else on here. Embarrassing the way people were hanging on his every word in the same way people were with Caulkin on Twitter (at least he's learned his lesson and keeps quiet about it these days although I don't doubt he was acting in good faith). One thing people should have learned by the fiasco in the spring/summer from all these supposed ITK journalists is that actually nobody other than those directly involved in the deal will know what's happening and they won't be blabbing about it on Twitter of football message boards.
  11. The Stadium of Light only cost £15m to build and then they had to pay half of that amount again a few years later to expand it by 7k seats. The total cost including the extension was less than £25m. As a comparison NUFC paid around £45m to extend SJP in 2000 although that was by 16k seats.
  12. Always nice to see Man Utd go out so happy with that!
  13. Never a pen in a million years. Shoulder to shoulder and if anything it's the Man Utd player leaning in more. Even Peter Walton who always goes with the ref on the pitch disagreed with that one!
  14. A mistake eh? Interesting to see how long it'll take them to refund the money that people (probably mostly Liverpool fans tbf) have forked out for these hospitality tickets baring in mind they haven't even refunded season ticket holders yet. Just a disgusting club really.
  15. Absolute disgrace I wouldn’t put it past this regime hawking them to corporate scousers. At anytime this is unacceptable and makes us look small time, but when capacity is limited to 2 thousand ? If any of them tickets end up in the hands of Liverpool fans when our lot can’t get in it’ll be a f***ing outrage. Of course they'll be hawking them off to the Scousers. They did that when we played them a couple of seasons ago despite 1000s of NUFC fans not even being offered the chance to buy a ticket. The crowd will probably be 50/50 that day. Thankfully I'll be nowhere near the place. Agree completely another reason why this regime is rotten to the core, they’d happily sell out their own supporters for a few extra quid. Aye done it before whilst being the ultimate hypocrites and threatening supporters with bans if they sold their own seats to Liverpool fans.

  17. He was a player I always wanted us to sign. Always thought he was far better than the teams he played for. Another gone way to young. RIP.
  18. With 15 of them sharing a small paddling pool there was always a high risk of this happening.
  19. Don't think it's meant to. Just seems to be speaking in his normal voice.
  20. I’d rather listen to Bruce, is that meant to be funny... Tbf he's got over1.5k likes so plenty of people have enjoyed it. No surprise you didn't. I understand many things go straight over your head if they don't include the words "SAFC academy" or "3pm press conference" so I'll excuse you on this occasion bud!
  21. Aye the one thing this whole charade has shown everyone is that there are no ITKs at all. Certainly no journalists or randoms who post on social media or places like this.
  22. I rate him better than Pickford but I think he is an awful keeper who makes an exceptional amount of errors. England don't really have any stand out goalkeepers although I've always been impressed with the lad at Southampton whenever I've seen him.
  23. Ha ha! No! Just seen the score. Predictable. Should start betting on Sunderland 1-1 every weekend.. That must have been 50% of their results in league one Apparently 31 of their last 56 games have ended 1-1.
