If anyone is daft enough to pay £15 to watch 2 shite teams in an empty stadium with fake crowd noise then more fool them really.

He's been playing football on the field not far from where I live this afternoon. For those of you who know Wallsend it was that field opposite St Bernadettes Church/Nobles newsagents. Seemingly he was driving past and seen a load of kids playing football, pulled over and joined in.

What he lacks in talent he more than makes up in luck.

Newport County 1-1 Newcastle United (NUFC win 5-4 on pens)

They're only a point ahead of Morecambe, who we beat 7-0. Shouldn't even be contemplating a defeat to these. -
Do we play the worst football in the Premier League?

I literally don't know a single Newcastle fan (in real life not the internet) who enjoys watching Newcastle play. -
3 white males in the studio there and 2 white males in the commentary box. Sky need to sort this out like.
-
Some poetic justice there with Spurs allegedly being one of the two PL clubs to complain about our Saudi takeover.
-
Can't be arsed to watch it but Livescore saying 0 shots on target today and none last week v Brighton either. Takes some doing that, playing all that football without testing the opposition goalkeeper
-
Doubt it. Crowds were down to 42k last season.

Tottenham Hotspur v Newcastle United- 27/09 @ 2pm live on Sky Sports

These are the sort of games I hate watching, Attack v Defence for 90 mins with one team just trying to keep the score down, so I'll probably not bother and end up watching a German, Spanish or Italian game instead. -
Big Joe showed a lot of resilience tonight.

The vandals were actually at the match as well!

I was there on Saturday too and thoroughly enjoyed it, my local club so will definitely be going back. Might take in some Benfield games too. That miss at the end though.....poor kid! Still not sure how he managed to put it wide and with the very last kick of the game as well! Would have been harsh on Stan as they should have been 3 or 4 up by half time.

I think the one thing that flurry of signings did yesterday was confirm to me that my interest in the club is virtually at zero, almost to the point where I'd struggle to call myself a supporter. I literally could not have given a toss and found myself just shaking my head at all the excitable people on social media. He'll probably sell ASM on deadline day and they'll all be back out with their pitchforks.

Good on you mate, forgot they were playing or I would have gone since Blyth was off, damn, will be around a bit when Blyth aren’t playing .Good report of how football used to be Yeah mate it was a bit of a throwback but I was genuinely surprised at how much I enjoyed myself. Been to other local Northern League grounds to me on the odd occasion, Whitley, North Shields & Benfield but there was something a bit different about Heaton Stan, although I can't really explain what it was! Once COVID restrictions are relaxed it'll be better again because at the minute, although the clubhouse is open you have to drink your beer outside. It was fine on a Saturday afternoon in September but won't have the same appeal on a Wednesday night in January.

Had a very enjoyable day at Heaton Stan v Carlisle City on Saturday. We got there nice and early and sat outside Dean & Daniellas, a cafe just a few doors up from the ground, had some nice bait whilst we watched the Carlisle team bus arrive and headed into the ground at 2.15. Seen a few familiar faces inside the ground, quite a few ex NUFC season ticket holders milling around as well as the Daily Mail journalist Craig Hope who qas there with his son and the crack was excellent I have to say. Had a couple of pints which I drank outside whilst watching the match. Crowd was announced as 258 which looked suspiciously on the low side (COVID restricts capacity to 300 for all Northern League games presently). The game itself finished 1-1, the wind spoilt it a bit if truth be told but the overall day was absolutely brilliant. Can't remember the last time I enjoyed a day out at a NUFC match as much. In fact I enjoyed it so much I ended up buying a season ticket!

My local. Cheap as chips in the clubhouse n all. Beat N Shields last night. Been a few times although not for a couple of seasons. It's about a 25 minute walk for me. Got a mate on the committee there. He's trying to get me to buy a season ticket. They're £75 apparently. I'm thinking about it.
-
Few of us ex NUFC ST holders/fans have decided we're going to watch Heaton Stan next season. 2nd nearest Northern League club to me and they play in black and white stripes. Looking forward to it.

Desperate cunts. Trying to use humour when no cunt wants to laugh with them. I'll smile with the pricks when Ashley, Charnley and Bacon have gone and the gaff has been fumigated. Until then you can shove your jokes up your passive, compliant arses. Amen to this. Nobody is in the mood for jokes as far as NUFC are concerned.

I'm sure they did their best but reading through that email they sent yesterday it felt like their man went into the fight (and that's what it is/was) armed with a feather duster instead of boxing gloves, tickled Masters for a bit, and was easily kept at bay with generic answers.

Think we beat them. Remember being knocked out of it by Troyes (Warren Barton had a nightmare in the home game) and Deportivo La Coruna maybe?

Aye that Bernard Tapie was a bit of a tinker.
