They'll beat Watford just to keep things interesting.

It's dark blue like.

He's got a blue one.

Kath Cassidy's favourite NUFC manager in recent years; "There was a lot from him that went unseen or unnoticed". "He always gave her a great big Christmas present that would have cost a lot of money and it was just because he really liked her". "He sent things to her care home too. This Christmas he sent her a beautiful card and a scarf for her and a bit of perfume. Honestly what a really, really kind man".
-
He's looked liked he's wanted away since August. Hardly surprising mind when he had fans confronting him in the dug out in his first home game as manager, despite them almost holding Man City to a draw (88th minute winner) the previous week. They're not fickle though. No way. Not actually sure who they could attract manager wise. The £180m debt (and growing) they have means any new manager comes in with his hands tied straight away. If they go down this season this could be the most glorious relegation of them all, given the possible consequences.

I was 5 when we sold Cole, I remember walking into school the next morning - I was in year 1 - and the big year 6s knowing I was mad for the toon asking me what I thought, told them what an outrage it was, I can picture where I was standing. Really was one of those big event moments of childhood, 'you remember where you were'. That and when KK left, and my dad walk to my school and into the playground to tell me. I was playing snooker in the Battle Hill club when I found out we'd sold Cole.

Cardiff fan on twitter reckons their fans who sit in the family stand, which is situated behind the goal adjacent to the away section, have been told they will be being moved for the game against us which will increase our allocation up to 8,000.

These 2 home games are absolutely vital. If we can win them both, at the very worst we'll be 7 points clear of Huddersfield with 6 games remaining (they've got a game in hand though). Got a funny feeling this will end up a draw though. -
You're clearly too young to remember Tony Cunningham then.

Phillips was an excellent finisher in his time there but was helped massively by having Quinn alongside him. Their tactics were basically lump it up to Quinn, knock down to Phillips, strike at goal. Fair play to them because it actually worked really well and they scored an unbelievable amount of goals playing that way. His all round game wasn't particularly good though. A million miles away from the likes of Shearer and Ferdinand who we had here.

We are averaging over 51,000 in the Championship and despite us being top of the league the football at home has been largely uninspiring. A reasonably successful NUFC in the Premier League, under Rafa Benitez is certainly capable of far higher crowds than the current 52k capacity allows.

£3,000 raised from last night's quiz night. -
Should have just kept Parker.

So it's the Sunderland Metro now is it? Not content with claiming our Airport and Central Station as their own they've taken over the Metro system as well now it would seem.
-
They know how to get out of my this situation. They've done it before and have the easiest run in out of those at the bottom. I've lumped on @ 9/1 as a bit of a saver bet.

Newcastle Benfield at home to Sunderland RCA tonight. All proceeds from the gate being donated to the cancer unit at the Freeman.

No. It's on a Monday night and they won't bring many fans up here. Talking about Kluivert I always remember a match against Norwich in the League Cup. He didn't even score that night but he gave one of the most impressive centre forward displays I think I've ever seen. Unbelievable to watch live inside the stadium.

3 seasons ago they were 7 points from safety with six games remaining.
-
9/1 on Bet365 to avoid relegation for those still worried about them pulling off another one of their escapes.

That Slovakia game is a pretty crucial game I would've thought It isn't really like. It's an awful group of teams which England will walk through with ease. I don't know anyone with any interest in this game whatsoever. I only found out they were playing Slovakia 5 minutes ago when I read it on here.
