  1. Go away. You haven't got a clue. Sorry? I said "go away you haven't got a clue". We've just been relegated. That was the wake up call. The captain and manager need to go away (where?) as well then. Totally disagree with anyone saying goes that was a wake up call, you the manager and the captian included. Relegation was the wake up call.

  3. You be just summed up his Newcastle career right there. Great attitude but ultimately not good enough even at this level.
  4. Pubs in sunderland will be packed out as well. Absolutely huge game for them, arguably their biggest of the season.
  5. For optimism and sheer excitement it's hard to remember a build up to a season like it. The Keegan era from 92-96 probably only betters it for me. Even under Sir Bobby, as much as I loved that man and we had a great side I can't remember being so excited for the start of the season. I've got the day off work today and a few of my mates are taking half days so we can go out early and get a good seat at the pub tonight cos it's going to be chocka!
  6. Same here for me and my daughter. Both existing season ticket holders. Haven't moved seats and we weren't expecting a new card for either of us. Puzzled and fully expecting one of us to be denied entry to the 1st home game next Saturday. No doubt resulting in having to mess about visiting the box office to get them them to sort it out, potentially missing KO. You'll need to use the cards with the highest issue number on the back of them. If you have duplicate cards the one with the lowest issue number won't work at the turnstile. Ticket office staff explained this to me yesterday.
  7. That would mean them blowing their entire transfer budget on one player though.
  8. When I moved from the back of the Gallowgate to Leazes I ended up with three Season Tickets. Figure that one out... Haha the lad who dealt with it the day said that could happen to me. I've got 2 now and he said I could expect another one with my correct seat in the post next week but to destroy it because it wouldn't work. The season ticket I've got for the wrong seat (that I've now cut up) has issue number 5 on the back, the one I got today has number 7 on the back and the one I might get through the post will be number 6. Only the highest issue number will work though.
  9. They do in Germany to be fair Flags look class Aye they do like but German fans and English fans are completely different. We're far more reserved than they are. Expecting something similar to Anfield where flags will be waved beforehand, maybe after goals and on occasions like when there's a break in play and the crowd are all up singing.
  10. They didn't open the neutral area for certain games last season so it would show as unavailable for anyone wanting tickets there. I'd imagine Burton at home wouldn't be one for the neutrals either so they won't bother opening it for that either. Can you really see 1000's of neutrals packing out that section weeks in advance for Fulham v Burton Albion? Hopefully we'll see a few Newcastle goals down that end tomorrow and the full stand going mental!
  11. Aye Mbemba for Hanley and Shelvey for Colback and I'd be happy with that.
  12. Uh oh, watch your letterbox Rather than ruin the thread I've sent the hard bastard a pm.
  13. And the miserable sods start already. Nobody is going to be stood up all the way through the match waving flags so nobody behind them can see what's going on ffs. Use some common sense.
  14. Also fair play to NUFC for allowing the use of the official club crest. They've been funny about this in years gone by as Keith Barrett will testify.
  15. Just back from the ticket office. Was sorted out in under 5 minutes and I was issued with a new card there and then. They blamed a 3rd party who deals with the season ticket sales for the cock up.
  16. Bloody hell I was expecting tiny little cheap looking things similar to what Chelsea fans wave on Champions League nights. These things are absolutely superb! Great to see that all our donations have been put to such good use. All those involved deserve massive credit.
  17. Going to have a drive along in a bit to see if I can get it sorted out. What happened was I ordered a season ticket but then when the deadline passed for current season ticket holders to renew expired some better seats were released to I picked one through the online ticket office and rang them up to change seats. Woman was very helpful and done it straight away, I even seen my new seat turn grey as I was looking at the stadium plan whilst I was talking to her. I then received my email confirming the seat change and that was that. Season ticket arrives this morning for the original seat. Should be pretty forward to sort out but we'll see.
  18. My season ticket has just landed on the doormat. Delighted when I've opened it up to find its not for the seat I ordered.
  19. The correct choice. Well deserved!
  20. I saw that on Twitter and others are saying 10,000, anywhere to confirm the exact numbers? Won't have 10k there like! With the neutral section/Newcastle allocation selling out almost immediately Fulham took the decision to remove the remaining tickets from full general sale and only sell them to fans with a previous booking history to prevent Newcastle fans buying tickets in the home sections. 7k will be our following tomorrow. Very impressive for a match on a Friday night 300 miles away. Just got to hope it inspires the players.
  21. P5, P6 & P7 are the away; P4, P3, P2, P1 are the neutral. Perfect thanks mate - he was hoping to be the closest to the away end as such - i know itll all be our lot mostly anyway but just checking. Cheers I'd assume P4 will be heavily loaded with NUFC fans, it'll get more "neutral" towards P1 and P2. Either way, can see us having about 4,500/5,000 there. Doubt it'll be much more than that. The neutral end sold out almost as soon as it went on sale which suggests it will be full of Newcastle fans, especially when you look at Fulham home games last season where the neutral section stood almost deserted for the majority of matches. Fulham reacted to it selling out so quickly by putting restrictions on sale for the rest of the stadium to stop further sales to Newcastle fans which suggests they know Newcastle fans snapped up the neutral section tickets. The stand holds 7,281 so 7k Toon fans there would seem about right. http://www.fulhamfc.com/help/faq/visiting-the-cottage
