8 assists and 1 goal last season according to that transfermkt site. Still, who cares now? Someone was daft enough to give us £30m for him!
-
It doesn't tbh but it's been used to knock Wijnaldum on numerous occasions.
-
That's awful. Robert did that in 6 months. Sissoko is nowhere near in the same class as Lauren Robert. Shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence.
-
Paully you spent years defending a CB who could do everything but defend, to be fair. At least Sissoko got plenty of assists. How many did he get? 8 assists last season. 3 of them in the home game v Norwich. Worth mentioning that because that match is always mentioned when people talk about Wijnaldum's scoring record..... 11 goals but 4 of them in one game etc

Brilliant news! It'll be nice this time next year watching him angling for another move when Everton haven't qualified for the Champions league. Well done to NUFC for sticking to their guns on this one as well
-
They'll still bring on a few more in reckon.
-
Have you seen the state of Goodison, those who populate it, and the surrounding areas? They're acting like scruffs because they are scruffs.
-
Think they're going to end up having good a very good day.

Anyone who rates Dummett is clearly an idiot. i'd seel dummet for £4.5m if we had adequate cover at LB & CB already in place that was better than him, i'm not convinced that's the case (yet) so for the fee it's not worth the risk imo that said i went to the huddersfield match and he was the worst player on the pitch, comically bad tbh Nobody came out of that Huddersfield match with any credit. Dummet has looked pretty solid since. He's worth more than £4.5m as a very useful squad player.
-
Yeah. Wonder if he'll be in the squad for Derby? No chance. More likely he'll go on strike because of our unreasonable demands.
-
Thing is a competent manager could have that squad challenging for a European place but as long as Pardew keeps them up people will be saying he's done a good job.
-
They never said he's at the airport Just said he's in Paris as he's left the France training camp I reckon he's sat at the airport like.
-
He's making a complete fool of himself now like. Hanging round an airport praying someone gets in touch with his agent. As much as I want him gone it'll be hilarious if he's still here tomorrow.
-
Spurs have cooled their interest. Could be Everton or nowt for him.
-
Happened in the 1st half on Saturday. Got turned but caught up with their winger and ended up putting a good tackle in.

It's like most of the stuff vented on this player, driven mostly by resentment and lack of reason. This is why it is such a relief to have a class manager like Benitez making the decisions now. I trust his judgement implicitly. Agree. At last we finally have a manager prepared to stand up to this egotistical pr!ck and is making him train on his own. No he isn't, he wants to keep him so badly that he will only accept an offer if it is an astronomical offer. He's a "very professional" player in the words of Rafa He's hardly going to say anything else when he's trying to get £35m for him Compare and contrast to his treatment of Wijnaldum. And he is training on his own, away from the first team. Benitez confirmed this.

Aye never understood it either. Why would he choose for example to have his best game of his NUFC career against Norwich in a random 3 o clock Saturday game? It's clear when targeted by the other team and space around him is restricted that he is severely limited, but it's not to do with not trying. He was put left back in games last season and did well and never complained once and was given the captaincy by Rafa for our most important stretch of the season, not a hope he's a massive disruptive influence as some like to say It was a 4pm Sunday game. Live on Sky.

Pretty good summing up tbh.
-
Agree with that, his ambition seems to outstrip his actual ability though. He thinks Real Madrid, reality is Real Vallecano-ish. I feel like I really don't have a handle on how good he is tbh. How would you guys describe him? Like a low-rent Yaya Toure? Lots of pace, carries the ball well and can deliver decent quality into the box. Good defensively as well, if I have a criticism it's that he doesn't score the goals he should. I can see why teams are sniffing around, always predicted he'd be worth a lot of money. I wouldn't go off what people say on here, most of them are extremely p*ssed off that he wants to be away.
-
He's been angling for a move for over 2 years now man. I don't know how much more obvious he needs to make it to you that he really, really doesn't want to be at Newcastle United. Time we got rid.
-
means f*** all these days tbh Drives his price up. Means sunderland can demand silly money for him which clubs will be reluctant to pay with him only having a couple of years left in him. id love him here tbh, never fails to score the little c*** Aye if we'd signed him last season we'd have stayed up and they'd have gone down. Still, it's turned out OK in the end.

It's relevant because his performances improved the longer Rafa had time to get an effective system going, before that we were all over the place under McClaren. Well aye, but across the whole season he was fairly s****, which is what people are saying. Everyone was s*** under McClaren because he had no style or method. Personally I think a player like Sissoko would always be better under Rafa, the way his teams set up is ideal for players with some pace. He was nowt special pre McClaren as well. Best off getting rid and investing the money in players who actually want to play for the club. If nobody comes in for him let him continue to train on his own. We're looking good fine without him and we shouldn't be needing him to get out of this league.
