  1. "I pick Nottingham Forest, I pick Newcastle too....AND LEICESTER!!!"
  2. 4 in 5 now for the Marlonator. Quote of the day on the full time phone in on the radio by a Anti-Marlon Brigade member...."aye he scores goals...but what else does he do?" Fair enough hes not a fan favourite...but he's doing a good job for us. Getting the goals as a goal getterer! Could be an unsung hero at season end???
  3. :mackems: :mackems: :mackems: :mackems: Its one of those moments in life you can tell your Grand Children...."I was there!" If it doesn't make the No. 1 highlight of the NUFC 2009/2010 Season Review DVD...then
  4. Travesty he didnt get awarded it today!
  5. The game was a bit boring until Nicky butt came on and offered his own unique brand of comedy football! Constantly hoofing the ball to the player furthest away from anyone or anything.... Having 3 players on his left to square the ball to but instead choosing to Pass to his right to Chris Hughton in the dugout! Reverse parallel overhead Triple Salchow bycicle kick without any purpose or need.... :mackems: :mackems:
  6. if they kept the undersoil heating on during the cold snap...if only in intermittent periods (i.e when its snowing) then no snow would accumulate on the grass! its not the pitch thats the problem though...its stupid idiots falling down the slippy stairs/ramps and suing the **** out of the club!!!
  7. gotta love a bit of Friday night Football like!!!! Good Times!!!!

Has there ever been an organisation that has sponsored 2x Prem clubs at once? NTL where sponsoring a few clubs at one point, but different leagues. My £££ is still on Greggs for the new sponsor. playing at the...Its the way we bake it,that makes it@St James Park/steakbake stadium in association with sportsdirect.com
  9. Pancake deserves a start after his last 2 super sub performances....with Nolan out, its a perfect oppotunity for him and to move Nicky Butt further down the pecking order.
  10. so very true, you would think they would atleast employ a hot lass to sit on the desk wearing a very revealing outfit whilst do the crappy email bit!
  11. Will he ever score? Or has he been schooled at the Jonas Gutierrez Academy of F****g up infront of goal?
  12. Ridiculous. C'mon then.....give me an alternative reason why Harewood might be getting a start. Because we've got 4 rubbish strikers, and he's one of them. He's no worse than the rest. He is the most rubbish stroker we have. However was thought to be of lower premier league quality and therefore preferable to playing to kids. That has now thankfully been disproven. I don't understand why loven hasn;t been given the chance of playing as a striker yet. I think him and Ranger/Caroll would do a good job. Still I'm content with Ranger and Caroll for now no need to rock the boat. Its because CH is such a crap "manager" he hasnt realised he can be played in this position and with quite good effect in the Premiership...let alone the Championship! But being such a crap manager leads you to winning 'manager of the month' awards consecutively...so who am I to grumble? top of the league..so even if our performances are crap....lets just keep playing crap and win the title!!!!

There's no way Im getting "Peter Rosenkrands Lovenkrands" now!
  15. Ive seen a big increase in the amount of Kids attending games this year!!!! Whether this is good - breeding a new generation of loyal Toon supporters.... OR BAD - having to witness the ugly and embarrassing scenes like after the Bristol Game.... remains to be seen!
  16. Jonas Gutierrez was best man at my wedding and he said the game changed when he came on! He said Nicky Butt is rubbish and he was much faster and more skilful! He also said his left hand was much stronger than Nicky Butt's! (only Jesting leon b )
  17. Statistics...thats what makes a good attendance discussion. QPR = 38,932 Championship + midweek + QPR + Recession + Fickle "Mike Ashley out" stayaways = not bad! Season Home Average = 40,296 SJP Total Attendance = 242,242 If I could be bothered I would look to see how many Prem/European/World teams have a total of nearly a quarter of a million people to have seen them after 10 games. But I can't...but Im sure we will still be near the top of the pile! Definitely something to be proud of! We have little else to shout about!

Seconded...along with the 10 year olds singing..."we'll see you outside" to the opposition. - In the sense they are going to Damien Duff them up in some respect? Well - no you won't on two points... 1 - the opposing fans will kick you clean into the RVI if your not instantly served an ASBO by the HUGE Police presence at every game. Or... 2 - your Uncle who isn't really your Uncle but is your secret dad who takes you to the match will want to nash on to miss the traffic at the Blue House Roundabout and has no time for a Skirmish at the garage! So shut the frick up and stop shaming the rest of us! Haven't heard it sung since we sung it to Chelsea, i think it was, like 1-2 years ago. It has been aired recently. Alot of mongs end up standing up in the Leazes corner, and therefore songs such as this do creep up. It is not really the ultras just some random charvs that get to about 5 games a season. Recently it's been "We'll never sit down", s'pose it sounds similar. We're educated enough to realise that this particular song has been sung many times since Chelsea 1-2 years ago against various opposition, as recently as this very season. We're also educated enough to realise that although sounding very similar to "Shove your tits up your arse...We'll never sit down" it is a totally different set of lyrics! Lets all work together - as one - to kick this song out of football...it serves no place on our terraces and should not be defended by any man, woman or indeed Charver at SJP.
  19. NUFC's League average at home this season is 40,640. NUFC's League average away this season is 21,296. Like for like comparison including cup games gives an impressive 303,153 to have witnessed the Toon thus far (11 games) with an average gate of 27,559. 203,319 people have passed through the Turnstyles at SJP (in all comps).
