I'm on record calling Pardew a cunt. We were relegation bait before Pardew and we will be after though. Ashley is the common denominator. Ashley is a tool granted, but after the biggest spend of any team in the January window, he can hardly take any blame for the appalling showing since then. You can always gauge how good a Manager is when the chips are down. It's about how they react to improve in areas you're struggling in. Lets look at some of the issues. Passing is still fucking shocking overall. Corners are, well I think we all know. Movement off the ball is still too static and easy to read. Lack of pressure on the ball. I could go on, but as not one of those areas have improved over the course of the season, I think it pretty much spells out he's not the right man for the job. We have improved since the window closed and the show hasn't been so appalling since then. We're 10th in the table on games since the window closed. It was the awful run before the window that fucked our season. That awful run didn't ever really end bar a few iffy wins.

I actually think it's Alan himself. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/10/17/article-2050213-0E673FC400000578-993_468x310.jpg 'Happy' looking 'face' there like. If the slipper fits...rumbled Alan.

Happy face is troll face in disguise.

Bottom line is; after several years of inexcusable dross people want a side they enjoy watching, a manager who is competent and owners who have compassion. Not a lot to ask it? Yet we fail on each count. It is more apparent that just like his native business; Ashley wants as best profit for as minimum investment as he can. This extends, not from just the monetary but people he is willing to employ. More than willing to rely on kids and cheap merry go round managers to suit this ideal. The only reason we were invested in so forcefully in January is that he shit himself and through this plan even then we nearly lost out. It's not all their fault, but despite the financial benefits for the club and Ashley, we are club dependent on a lack of ambition and getting by. That's why Rafa et al are laughable. Enter Barry Fry, John Gregory, O'Leary et al instead. Everyone is treated like his 6 pound peanuts lackeys in Sports Direct; except that its just relative to the money that is in football. The football is tertiary.

Rafa will never happen as long as there is a hole in my arse. Not worth getting your hopes up.

Delaying inevitable disappointment and a future sacking with this chump. We'll finish bottom half.

We are a joke; pains me to say it but this another example of the sheer pantomime this club is at times.
-
Keep reading that title over and over and am incredulous to think why youd happily say that in any context. He genuinely seems to believe his own EL bullshit too.
-
Least we know 100% where.we stand.

This is what it boils down to. I live in Leicester and it's similar (not to Istanbul); doesn't matter if your from Wallend or Westminster, we all pay our money and support the club with a view to success. Beyond infuriating and I don't begrudge anyone this opinion.

It's as laughable as it is infuriating.

I'd like to hear it rather than read it, hopefully it'll be on MOTD or the BBC site soon. Do i detect that you dont believe them to be true, what if they were said to the written press ?. I believe them to be true obviously, I just want to hear the question and the tone of voice etc. Ah right, and to be fair that is a perfectly acceptable reasoning. Thanks! Actually being genuine, how someone says something can be perceived different when it's written down. I know, cheers, that's all I'm saying. Obviously if Pardew has deadpan seriously said he doesn't give a fuck about getting beat by Arsenal then it's not acceptable, but I think that's fairly unlikely (on balance). If he's said it jokingly in response to a question about how relieved he is about staying up before the final day, then it's unwise but forgivable. It could be a throw away comment, but he has to be intelligent enough to know it's unacceptable. And we do pick apart his comments tbf. But these few are quite mental like. Yup. What it highlights in a stark manner he how thick as a bulls dick he is.
-
His card was was already marked and this isn't a sole reason to sack him but he would be wise to exercise a bit more humility and is telling of the ambition he or indeed the club truly has.
-
Goes hand in hand with the 'rapes him' comments when I think about it. Phenomenally thick.

I think he probably is genuinely pleased about not having to deal with the Europa League again. Quite a few managers probably share this opinion, but most are sensible enough not to say anything in public. Many pundits say that it is an unnecessary burden. I don't think it means he will actively try not to qualify in future though, that would be ridiculous. Name those managers then. I've got: Alan Pardew Harry Redknapp Not sure I can name them specifically, as I said they wouldn't say it in public . A few managers of a club who doesn't have a big enough squad to guarantee success in both competitions probably. Jol? Pulis? Then that's just an opinion from just yourself. Not from those managers. I know, as I said I don't have quotes to hand. But I don't think it's unfair to say that managers like that would consider the Europa League an unwanted burden on their squads. So explain Stoke's form this season without the EL then? Jol hasn't been in Europe with Fulham. You're making things up. I don't know what you're asking? You've reversed the logic - I'm not saying any club that has a bad season can blame Europe. I'm not even saying Europe is the main reason for our bad season. I'm saying that many managers of mid table clubs probably consider it a burden on their squads, and pundits seem to agree. Not really sure why this is a hard thing to accept, it's common knowledge. Obviously must managers wouldn't make such a direct statement about it, but I'm factoring in his relief at staying up. If any of that is the case then that encapsulates everything that is wrong with football. I guess we should appreciate Pardew for his honesty He's an idiot for voicing it and this is without considering how terrible is at his job.

Pretty much flies in the face of any ambition you have as a competitive football club. If if they aren't malicious. Someone who is that crass and unaware of what he is saying shows he has no idea of what he doing and that extends to his coaching. He's another untouchable jobs for the boys types with a sickening level of self-worth.
-
Missed this from watching Homeland. Are these quotes for real? How self-absorbed, insensitive and downright thick do you have to be to make comments like that? And how blinkered do you have to be to defend that? I'm incredulous and furious. He genuinely believes he has achieved something and has the right to wax lyrical about it. What a despicable, egotistical cur. If he doesn't go it's an absolute smack in the face and a travesty. Also speaks volumes about the true intentions of Ashley et al.

As did I; I have no faith in our dear leader and his lackey after the name change, jettison of hughton, the keegan fiasco and all the rest of it. The hindsight signings in January don't make up for the lack of improvement last summer. The only solace I can take is the possibility that despite that late support that Pardew has proven himself to be squirming, ying abject failure and I'm sure that's angered them.

Yes, he carried the ball from the edge of our penalty area nearly to the edge of there's and played in Cisse who tried an outrageous ridiculous shot that green saved easily. Accidentally controlled a ball with his ringpiece after attempting an overhead clearance.
