Whey, it will also be because we collected more points than three other teams. I agree we haven't shown enough fight, but I'm sure many teams have survived like this. Well quite, but it is bound to aggravate when I hear those inane soundbites the ilk of which we've heard all season. All be moot if he goes like.

What's the fucking deal with this, anyway? Why does no one with early access have a good camera? It's practically only a couple of steps ahead of those chalk drawing that they have at court.

One thing I think is for sure; if we do stay up then it won't be down to romanticised notions of a relegation dogfight; 'grit, fight, determination, guile' etc. It'll be down to finding long-lost competence and allowing even just modicum of creativity or something fresh. Or just sheer luck.

Look at the table and fixture list, and the enormous FAC final distraction, and the five games in fifteen days ..... I really do think they're done for this time. ....and Pardy-points a plenty for another season of papered over cracks for the toon. Maybe not, hope we're right.

I'm the opposite I start out loving them but then as I see Danny Simpson et al in them I hate them progressively more each week.

Thing is, for every game we've come sharp out of the traps, this guy and turgid/archaic approach negates the lot as we sit on a 1-0 lead if we're lucky. He'll then spout some shite about progressive 'front foot football' (?) and some people swallow it. For that reason I can't be confident, no matter how good a squad it looks on paper.

All stems back to Ashley and Llambias really. They appoint the man, does well; okay good job so far. Get cocky after 5th and save a few bob by buying 1 token player and the team struggles. Pardew whinges and gripes and looks to be losing touch. They back him with a flurry of overdue signings and continue to see him struggle without further action. They hold the keys to the ignition to kickstart this. Pardew's a dead duck and inept but he's just an influencial pawn when all's said and done. If they have any decency and guile they are the ones to change things.
