Jamaal Lascelles (now playing for League One Leicester City)

It’s the ‘stop the negativity line’ and ‘bad energy’ as if we’re just nutters. I know he’s not joining MENSA in a hurry but c’mon, it’s lightyears away from asking him to back protest. -
Which only buys you two decent players, and two decent players aren't going to plug all the holes... It’ll be what we as a club deserve and all. We can’t really moan in football terms if we end up going down.

He cares well enough about his teams situation but he hasn’t had 11 years of this shit but he knows we have and should know better by now. -

It’s the bad energy that does it. -

It’s a master stroke this like, getting those who protest to criticise the captain. -

I have to be cynical, there’s a video accompanying it with him buttering up home support - it’s no coincidence. -
Fortiter defendit triumphans - triumph through defence. Time to defend your values not endure his.

Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

Not that I care too much for this hypothetical but ultimately you reap the reaction or memory of the legacy or actions you leave behind. There’ll be no vigil. -
Can target all the people they like they’ll still use the same bullshit, stubborn methods that handicap us time after time.

Kudos Rod. Tough call.

The main problem is the fans . Footballs full of rich cunts using clubs for their own benefit . Most fans seem to have an abnormally low iq and will passively accept whatever shit the owner throws at them . Ashley could rape their kids on the halfway line at half time and they wouldnt even blink Alright that sort of line has been done to death now - bit distasteful that one.

Attack sports direct not other fans. Attack sports direct by protesting at shops. Several other campaigns in support. ‘Shouting at shops’ll’ do fuck all What’s the perfect starting point if at all?

He’s sold a lot of land to himself effectively is my understanding. Not good. -
Disagree. If this had gone ahead and numbers were sufficiently down that it sparked him into action again then it would have vindicated that method. The die hard support the team ilk will always dig in. Those on the fence who go regularly now told if you’re setting foot in the place you’re not a fan, published by an official member of TMG is not conducive. People need to debate face to face with each other sensibly. This Watford flyer handout will be key. It needs to be measured, civil. This social media/online partisanship is toxic.

It’s undone a lot of goodwill that imo

Social media bile isn’t helping. People should really pay attention to the stuff being released by the groups organising rather than lone wolf comments, that bleeds over sometimes mind. Is there an age divide you reckon? A lot of the ‘ive been going x years and...’ come from an older type and whilst I know plenty who say opposite who are older it seems interesting. I don’t talk to enough local fans enough beyond my dad to gauge reaction. He’s a bit of a militant oddball at heart mind.

That’s it for me, I’d love to take my unborn kids or my nieces and nephews but to bring them in saying ‘this is what it’s all about’ settling for the bare minimum, accepting bully behaviour from powerful people. What is the legacy for them? Maybe that’s idealistic but why should I tell them in good faith to be proud of that?
-
It’s the not supporting someone/something by paying money to them. I don’t get. You be told, fine - that’s your reason. If I buy a poppy, for all the controversy that surrounds it, I’m supporting help for heroes. Do I have issues with the poppy being appropriated? Yes. Do I want to support injured veterans? Yes. Why the fuck would you pay to fund something you purport to hate. Help for heroes mike ain’t. And why should your opinion on players and managers be respected despite to being entitled to it if you are going to just willingly ignore the biggest issue. You can’t demand respect that way, the same way I can’t denand what you do. Genie is out of the boycott bottle now so we’ve just got to hope enough critical thought prevails. That probably sounds patronising but meh.

Enjoying the go into the woods and have a wank suggestion that follows. Worth an advisory tweet?

I bet he doesn’t even really run a university faculty either.
