He'll see out this season no matter what, even if we get relegated. Then he'll make an appaling start to next season regardless of what division we are in and get the elbow by Mid-September.

Which one?? I saw Craig Lewington play for Hampton and Richmond a few years ago. He makes Nixon look mobile.

Agree 100%. It's one of the many reasons why I hate AFC Wimbledon. Wimbledon was different as they had their club stolen from them by another town in another county and changed the name of the club, the badge and colours and everything. Get down to Gateshead. It's a good standard now, although I don't like the Athletics stadium. If they ever get that new ground, the club could take off. I'm not getting into the Wimbledon arguement again. I am clearly on my own in this forum when it comes to opinion on that club. I agree with Gateshead though, Graham Wood is a top guy. Sold all his shares from his time as chairman at Hampton and Richmond Borough to our supporters trust for £1.

I can't welcome him or support him or approve of any of this complete and utter shambles of a situation, but I obviously hope he brings instant success and gets the team playing fantastic football. I know everyone has said they will never support him etc etc but in all honesty how many of us will keep saying that if he actually does a good job? I can't say for sure I will. Mr Pardew, I wish you weren't here and I wish Mike Ashley would suffer a horrendous accident - possibly involving some kind of flesh eating virus and a small garden gnome - but as neither seem likely then I can only wish you good luck because christ knows you are going to need it. And can I suggest you invest in a large supply of body armour and tin hats.

I love you Dino. Always trying to find something, anything, that may be slightly positive.

Now there is something you don't read every day.

Because 5Live bores me and I'm not a big music fan. It's just something to have on in the car while I drive home. FWIW they do have some decent pundits on and Durham does what he does very well, he had me shouting at the radio earlier like a fucking lunatic, but other times I do nothing but laugh.
-
If Jol does turn up tomorrow it'll mean that twat Adrian Durham claiming he was spot on when he stated thay MA was doing the right thing for the club, as he clearly wants to take us forward and into the Champions League, and Hughton wasn't capable of doing that. I couldn't bear that Smug Ginger WUM to think he actually got something right.

That's an awesome little ditty. I really want Matt to sing it on the xfactor final.
-
Really gutted for Chris as he's done a good job and been composed and dignified at all times, sometimes in the face of severe provacation. I'll hold fire on the full on abusiveness until I see who takes over, there is always the possibility that BFM could surprise us with a some astute football acumen, but I won't hold my breath.

Ticket prices will be released over the next few days. Apparently.

So we're looking good for now then. This gives me a warm feeling inside.

Well I'm on the train now so the kids are having a day trip no matter what. Come on sky, pull your corporate finger out!
-
Any credible news as to if this is going ahead?
-
If it's called off after I've got to Newcastle I'll be bringing the 5 kids with me round your house until the train home Chris. You won't be laughing then.
-
Wouldn't be remotely funny.

I think I've been consistant with my thoughts on Hughton and NUFC's relegation prospects. Nobody can accuse you of inconsistency man. Quite the opposite, you're staggeringly predictable.
-
Bringing all my Chelsea supporting tribe up for this one. I am prepared for the misery of listening to them on the train home after we've lost. I hope the crowd get behind the team as we seem to play better when we are under less pressure. I think a close fought defeat, maybe 1-3, with them getting the two winners in the last 10 minutes.

The fact that they went through shit doesn't give them the right to act the twat to smaller clubs. MK Dons are the legal continuation of Wimbledon FC. They legally moved the club with the dispensation of the governing body of the sport. AFC Wimbledon came into exsistence while there was still a Wimbledon FC, so therefore they are not the continuation of the club. Say what you like about 'spirit' and all that tosh but the facts remain that MK Dons are Wimbledon FC. AFC are an entirely new club. Plenty of Wimbledon fans went to watch MK Dons and still do. Do they not deserve to be recognised as fans of the club they followed for many years? It might not be the normal viewpoint of all the right minded people in the football family but I lost all my sympathy for that lot a couple of years ago and with good reason. You won't change my mind. They are scum of the very highest order. I wasn't a fan of the whole MK thing when it happened but over time I've realised that it is not the MK fans or the MK club that were wrong. It was the people who sold out to Winkleman that had been running the Wimbledon FC into the ground and the piss poor fans they had who made Wimbledon FC the worst supported team in the Premier League, long before the MK move came to pass. These are the same people who spout there mouths of across the internet at anybody who dares to question AFC on any subject. I fully expect one of them to turn up on here and try to get me banned for blasphemy against the almighty club of the people.

I would love this to happen. It would be as funny as f*** to see the real continuation of Wimbledon FC stick one up those self righteous ground stealing franchise bastards from Norbiton. I know I'll be in the minority, as we've had this discussion before, but I really can't stand AFC Womblescum. I don't understand what you have against Wimbledon. Because they acted like billy big bollocks to the rest of non-league? Any set of fans in the same situation would end up the same, imagine if Newcastle for some reason ended up with a phoenix club starting at the bottom - we'd be a right set of twats. MK Dons are an embarrassment of a football club. I bought all that bollocks until they turned up at my ground, kicked in the fencing, damaged the stand, invaded the pitch and laughed at our player with a broken leg. They are a vile bunch of wankers who believe they have a right to get to the football league. They treated the whole of non-league football with contempt and 95% of the clubs were happy to shut up and take the pay off of their big crowds and let them win. We stood up to them and refused to let them walk all over us, they didn't like it and they got very nasty. There has been more than a couple of incidents of AFC 'fans' physically assaulting our fans after games. They are just a horrible horrible club and I hope they get to the league so I never have to see them again, unless of course they play NUFC when in which case I will go back to 'the fans stadium' and piss all over the place. And another thing, everyone forgets about the famous old non-league club who had there ground stolen in a property deal by a greedy devious chairman. But then, that would be detrimental to the fairy tale of AFC Wimbledon.

EDIT: Having just read that article I can see lots of familiar names on the comments section. It's the same boring old idiots who I have encountered on many a non-league message board. They are still going on about the same stuff, it's ridiculously boring.

I'm never happy to lose but we were in the game for a long while despite having a much weaker side out than them. It took a couple of spunky goals for them to get ahead and once they had a bit of daylight they were always going to hit us on the break. At least we have got through the game without injuries to any senior players and have re-confirmed that we have limited resources in reserve. Bring on Sunday and the filth from down the road.

Stop moaning about the ref. We're playing Arsenal so we'll get next to nothing. Standard operating procedure.

Smith. Smash. Standard.
