They'll replace them for £5 each if I go to the box office before the game. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Had visions of £25 a pop. Massive sigh of relief.

I can't find the black card holder/wallet thingy that my season ticket lives in. Been searching for it all weekend when I noticed it wasn't in my main wallet. The paper part of my Driving Licence is also missing, which indicates I may have dropped them both without noticing. Or some bastard is trying to impersonate me. Anyone ever lost one before? Are the club likely to be dickheads about replacing them?

Been pleased if not a little surprised with his last couple of games. I wasn't sure we'd see him back in the team again, he just never seemed to be good enough. But fair play to him, he's obviously worked hard and the way he is playing he deserves to get the credit. Well done Danny lad.

I think he's a limited player in the same degree as Guthrie is, but he wasn't awful today by any stretch. He needs games to get back to first team level after such a long time out. I think he could do a decent job playing with Cabaye or Tiote, but asking him to play alongside Guthrie, who hasn't played a great deal himself, is always going to be more difficult.

There's a lunatic sits a few rows in front of me. Grey hair, always wearing a coat and scarf. The angriest bloke ever. Literally looks like he is about to pull out a machine gun and go full on action film bad guy on the family stand. Delights in telling everyone in ear shot how utterly terrible our team is. The only time I see him smile is when a player he has been slating makes a fuck up and he can give us the smug grin to show how clever he is. I'm far enough away not to be bothered by him, but if I sat next to him I'd be on a banning order pretty fucking sharpish.

Thought he was a bit in and out today, but given his international efforts and the knock he took I can forgive him. Still had a decent game and the partnership with Tiote is looking better every time. First couple of corners were shocking mind.

Just got back. Really good game i thought. Plenty of action and a decent atmosphere for most of the game. I'd have taken a point before the game and certainly would have taken one with 20 minutes to go, but with the way we played for most of the game I could make decent case for us taking all three. Couple of silly lapses cost us but I don't think we can be too disappointed overall. Krul 7 - Solid and dependable. Simpson - 5 - Looking really shaky. Should be dropped soon. Raylor - 6.5 - Solid, decent delivery. Kept Bale quiet early on forcing him to move over to the left. Saylor - 7 - One shocking tackle, other than that played very well. Coloccini - 8 - Never looked troubled, great distribution, should have scored. Obertan - 6.5 - Flashes, sparks, still not convinced about this guy. Cabaye - 6.5 - In and out of the game. Not quite up to his best but understandable given his international efforts. Tiote - 7.5 - Covered the whole pitch, tenacious and snappy, good effort late on. Jonas - 7.5 - Really impressed today. Stretched them going forward and worked hard for the whole 90. Best - 6.5 - Not as good as Blackburn game but still pleasantly surprising. Strong, always on the move and links well with Ba. Ba - 7 - Good position for the goal, always trouble the Spurs back four with his pace and power. Really like this partnership. Barfa - 6.5 - Buzzed around, wanted to get involved. Hope to see him start next week, maybe in place of Obertan. Ameobi - 7.5 - Got the usual comments when he came on from the crowd around me but you can't keep this man down. Cracking finish and decent all round play. Santon - Not on long enough but looked a million per cent improvement on Simpson. Must start next week.

Haven't the Scots, Welsh and N.Irish FA said they won't allow their players to participate, or have I missed them changing their minds?

One of the things that I was pleased with was the way we were consistently winning the ball in the air. Best and Ba, supported by Obertan were winning the flick-ons from the goal kicks more often than not, you just don't get that with Shola or Loven in the team. It's hardly master tactics but we seemed to keep the high ball away from Samba for the most part which enabled us to win the ball. This isn't to say that we are, or indeed that I want us to be, a long ball team. There are, however, times when there is no choice but to go long and it's good to know that we can make something of this when it's called on. I think we are starting to look a really nice footballing side though, plenty of pace and movement coupled with a bit of brute strength is a quality combination to have in a team. Obertan, whilst having a good game yesterday, is going to frustrate the hell out of me. You can see he has bags of pace and should have attacked the full back more yesterday, and the final ball which I think everyone agrees is a little unpredictable. Having him and Jonas on the pitch at the same time is going to bring many a groan from the stands. Krul - 6 Little to do but was solid and delivery was good. Simpson - 5 Looking like Santon will be in to replace him rather than Raylor if he doesn't buck his ideas up. Decent delivery but suspect defensively. Saylor - 7 Forming a good partnership with Colo. Wins the ball and is a threat in the oppo box. Still looks liable to drop a clanger though. Colo - 8 Cool, calm, commanding. Makes it look easy. Raylor - 6 Less bad than Simpson. Horrible clanger for their goal but otherwise did little wrong. Obertan - 7 Looks great at times but final ball too often is sub standard. Decent game yesterday though. Tiote - 8 Dominating. Cool in possesion, solid tackes and ran the game. Cabaye - 6 in the first half, 8 in the second. Seemed to be by-passed in the first half but made up for it in the second with some great passing. Looks like a real winning combo with Tiote. Jonas - 7 Much the same as Obertan. Great at times but frustrating with some final balls and decisions. Best - 7.5 Stong in the air, good on the ball. Should have scored at least one, if not three but finishing let him down. Ba - 8 Took his goals well and his all round play was much better. Good running and movement and also won a lot of the high balls. Much improved. Barfa - Easy to go overboard with a rating for him, so I'll just say he looked awesome and I can't wait to see him get properly back in to it. Marveux - Really like the look of him. Interesting cameo. Pards - 7 - He's going about it in the right way. I'm impressed with the way he's got the team seemingly playing for him/each other. The football isn't too bad either. Hope is a dangerous thing, but I have to at least believe he isn't going to make a complete pigs ear of it after all. And finally. Smith - 10. Nowhere near the fucking pitch. Let's keep it that way.

Can't see it but I presume disco has posted it. Much obliged, sir.

I've just posted one on my facebook taken from level 7. Anyone who can get on there and rip it feel free.

I'm not normally in town when we are away, does anywhere in town show the games?
-
Had Best and 2-0 at 35/1 yesterday. That would have paid for my new shirt. I blame Alan Smith.
-
Found him frustrating today. You can see he has pace and ability to beat a man, he does a bit of donkey work but he doesn't seem to think too much. That time when he stopped it going for a corner when he was alone in the final third.

Journey underway. Love match day, hopefullyt I'll get in with enough time for a pint before the game. Team should be Krul; Simmo, Saylor, Colo, Raylor; Jonas, Cabaye, Tiote, Marv; Obertan; Best.
-
You coming up? Pre match drinks? Plan is to be up for every game. Wife's nan pegged it the day before the Arsenal game though so had to give it a miss. Might sneak one in before the game but my train doesn't get in till 11.50 so it'll be a rush. Definitely have a couple after though.

Tempted to wear mine tomorrow, even though it is a particularly pathetic piece of tat.

Home game, more fans get to see us and more income. Are you on the board?

Away games in the south please. Thank you in advance.

What a week for Raylor. Well done, sir.

Got in from work in time to catch the last five minutes. Enjoyed every second. GTFI!!

I just got pissed at home and watched it on the telly. I was going to miss the Fulham game anyway as I'm short of cash this month so I'm going to go to that one instead.
