He was invisible today, and I don't think any Newcastle fan not on Special Brew and drugs really thinks he's our best player.
-
Gouffran was absolutely shite today and offered nothing.
-
It's thick and racist.

As if being 'pc' should a pejorative term. Just don't a cunt.

Imagine if we'd even got a s*** point at the Mackems. Still, can't argue. Absolutely perfect response. Can't argue with the response since the mackem debacle, credit where it's due (still doesn't come close to making up for it mind and we absolutely must win the home derby). Stop starting with Shola please, it's neither funny nor ironic.

It'll be a beautiful day when Pardew leaves this club, the out-of-his-depth, patronising, servile, negative tit.
-
You forget a certain Alan Shearer needing to be coached by Bobby Robson when he arrived in 1999?
-
Should never have been dropped in the first place. Thanks Pardew, you Marlon Brando cheek-aping ball bag.

Gouffran will offer even less through the middle IMO. I know he's flavour of the month right now, and Cisse is the pantomime villain, but I haven't seen anything to suggest Gouff is going to be an effective CF. This is true but too many NUFC 'supporters' are blinded by their hatred of Cisse to admit it.

We have a shit manager, hope this information helps.

while sacking Pardew does nothing to solve the other major issues. Best case scenario if he's sacked some uninspiring mate of JFK's sits in the dugout and same s*** all over again same complaints. Worst case scenario its JFK himself which is a rather unbearable prospect. All the while no investment no change to transfer policy no change to ambition. Changing the manager is the only thing we can realistically hope for though, isn't it. Ashley's not going anywhere, Kinnear is his mate and we're clearly not going to be revamping the squad. People are quite obviously focussing on the most expendable part of the system. I get why but simply put its just not a POV I share, managing any premier league side is a hard job, managing this club in particular under Mike Ashley is considerably more difficult than any other job out there so I will always have a sympathetic view. As an outsider, i have to say, really? Is it really that difficult? I watched your game today, and even though you went a goal down early into the game, I thought that if you got an equaliser, there was no way on earth you wouldn't have gone on to win that game. Your squad isn't just slightly better than theirs, it is in a different f***ing universe. It's in a different universe to ours, too. I can't think of a single player in that Sunderland side who would get a regular run out in your side. So how on earth did you manage to spunk that away today? They're a f***ing awful side, they ran around and chased the ball down more than you did, but by half time, I thought they looked f***ed. Once more, I am an outsider looking in, so I am probably ignorant of things that I should know, but from my point of view, whilst Ashley makes lots of dreadful errors - banning the press, that ridiculous Kinnear situation etc etc - it looks to me like almost the entirety of last season and chunks of this season so far, Pardew has managed to fashion a side which is far less than the sum of its parts. Today was a perfect example of this. Nail on head there, Brummie.

Edited there for you. he's not the problem simply another symptom. The problem is Ashley and a moronic transfer policy and the thinking that just buying players from one sub-par league is a good idea. Ashley is the root cause but the biggest immediate obstacle to progress is that cowardly negative bulb by the name of Alan Pardew. Kinnear would be preferable to this shyster. oh come on. how quickly people forget how bad things were under dear JFK Not as quick as some seem to forget how bad things were under Pardew last season, and for all his faults we were never beaten 3-0 in a home derby under Kinnear.

If that's the case then well done sunderland fans, wave goodbye to the Italian Glenn Roeder.
-
That's fair enough, but as Dave posted there's little or no competition on the bench or squad due to inertia/tight-fistedness by our beloved leader and his drunk general.
-
Based on what? That they're not shit and are actually decent players who happen to be out of form. We know what Cisse can do and Debuchy is still settling in. People seem to forget Coloccini was shit in his first season here, but impatience and overreaction seems to be de rigueur these days.
-
NUFC-Online heresy alert - I don't believe either Cisse or Debuchy are useless.
-
But they're completely different types of striker; unfortunately we do not have a Lukaku type of striker at our club. If we did I'd be happy to see Cisse dropped due to be his recent poor form, but replacing him with Gouffran or Shola is simply not the answer.
-
Funnily enough, I seem to recall similar being prematurely said about Colo, Enrique, Darren Peacock and Gary Speed to name but a few.

Just in case revisionism is still flowing nicely this evening, here's a few (amongst many, many more) charming bon mots about Danny Simpson after the boxing day game at Old Trafford last season - Hopefully should never play for us again. Utter s***. Wish this c*** would get injured so I never have to see his talentless c*** face ever again. Probably one of the worst full-back performances I've ever seen. Someone break his f***ing legs. Cannot wait until this c*** leaves. Horrendous footballer, and a con artist of a defender. Useless, just f*** off Danny. Played that little Mexican c*** on for the winner - absolute basics of fullback play, you never get caught behind your centre-halfs Got in to so many good positions offensively, imagine if we'd had Debuchy there instead, what a difference he would have made.
-
Utter poppycock...the amount of vitriol and bile directed at Simpson for his positioning alone was at near early Darren Peacock levels.
