United’s decision to pay so much money for a virtual unknown raised eyebrows when they struck the deal with Portuguese club Vitoria Guimaraes in August 2010. Only 20 at the time, Bebe made just three starts for United - none in the league - before being loaned to Besiktas in Turkey last summer. He appeared out of his depth at Old Trafford, raising questions as to why United had made such an investment. Now it has emerged that Portuguese police are looking into the deal to find out where around £3m of the money has gone. Their anti-corruption department have scheduled hearings with various witnesses in Iberia. Also take into account we have the mags to the North of us, the North sea to the East, the Pennines to the west and the Yorkshire Dales/Moores to the South. Midds reply... Gets me every time. Agreed, and it's not as if they have a big budget to go out and buy more cutting edge, they have to make do with what they have and it has been succesful for them over the season. They are proving that just because you don't have a big budget doesn't mean you can't play good football, in fact they have been succesful because of it.
