Not sure where Clark thought that header was going to end up though?

We're still 4 points clear of third with a game in hand and a hugely superior goal difference. -
How can the linesman not have seen that?

Could quite easily be ahead of Brighton by Thursday in any event - Huddersfield away isn't an easy match. -
Think we need to remember that we should have comfortably beaten Blackburn even without Shelvey.

FFP is worked out over the year though isn't it, meaning they'll have the summer to make any adjustments ? Don't know - was just going off something said at The Times and trying to sound like I knew what I was talking about.
-
If Palace sign Sakho, don't they need to get rid of a high earner for FFP? Reckon Ashley is just trying to see what he can get away with.

Michiel Jongsma @JongsmaJongsma Sources told @Boerenmacht that Newcastle United was the English team that saw three bids for FC Groningen's Mimoun Mahi rejected. No idea who he is..

Still think it's bizarre that we didn't give Saivet a chance. Such a weird signing.
-
To clarify - a good transfer deadline day. My perception has been that they are often laced with disappointment.
-
Trying to think of a good transfer window that we've had. The Woodgate one is the only one I can think of?
-
No-one said we did - but clearly a player's development helps the club he plays for, so discussing how this might happen is relevant.
-
You'd have to be wilfully ignorant or a bit dense to think that youth and/or inexperience in a particular league isn't a factor in performance levels.
-
Fast Forward 10 years Not sure how that is relevant - asking to give a 22 year old time is a perfectly valid concept.
-
Don't quite see the value in writing a 22 year old off after 1 season and a half in a new country. Clearly shouldn't be starting and I'm not sure how you get him to develop if he isn't playing (maybe a loan next season, but that just perpetuates the issue if/when he returns), but I wouldn't give up on him yet.
-
I agree with this, but then he keeps shooting himself in the foot. Thereby rendering said run of games impossible Very true. There's definitely a decent striker in there somewhere - for all his bluster, he's a confidence player.
-
He's clearly the kind of player who needs a run of games as well.

http://gifrific.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Blackadder-Confused-Look.gif He scored 9 in 34 last season despite missing about 2 open goals a game. He never looked out if his depth at any point either, actually looked pretty comfortable. For reference England international Bobby Zamora spent over a decade in the Premiership.

How did I not see this story about Cordone? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2847754/Ex-Newcastle-flop-Daniel-Cordone-impersonates-Claudio-Caniggia-Argentina-Masters-friendly-against-Brazil.html

Summary of a relatively amusing interview with Brede Hangeland. Don't want to oversell it. Although doesn't stick the knife into Pardew.
-
Not sure if I've missed something but are Palace about to spend £30+ on essentially three similar (positionally at least) left sided players in Schlupp, Van Aanholt and Brady?
-
Kind of hoped we would go after him. Thought bigger clubs than Hull would be after him, so you'd think we'd have a chance.
-
Been really impressed by Darlow this season - obviously got a fair bit to work on, but a run of games has really helped him.

If Yedlin plays like he did against Brentford, Anita is going to be a huge miss.
