Yep - he played well in the first half, which coincided with us getting the ball to him a bit more. Faded in the second half and it was the right decision to bring him off in the second half. I think people underestimate how hard it is to influence a game as a winger if the ball isn't supplied to you regularly enough. You can't go chasing the ball and ruining the shape of the team.

We have 3 home games left, we've gained points in 5 of our last 6 at home. Granted two of our last three are very tough, but home form is decent. We have the worst team in the league to play away, a side who from yesterday's selection won't be first choice when we visit, and a team who've won one in about half a season. I am choosing to be optimistic and go with this view. My only fear is that tomorrow night seems absolutely crucial - if we lose heavily, I fear the players' heads will drop going into a match with a Liverpool team that looks like to be not at full strength. Spurs is almost the game I am most hopeful for (bar Palace and Villa). If they can't win the league, do you honestly think that people like Kane, Dier and Alli will be going all out when they have the Euros coming up? Can't see it myself.

Looked pretty quick today from where I was sitting. Looked quicker than Mbemba on the odd occasion and Mbemba is definitely a quick centre back.

I'd agree that Swansea came out in the second half and looked dangerous but they had one shot on target. Can only remember one really good chance they created - they had a lot of the ball but didn't do much with it.

I agree with all this, but will bin dippers be wanting another Euro league,Thursday night specials next season. I doubt they wouldn't try at home vs us, but I wouldn't be wanting Thursday nights next season if I was klopp? Winning the EL means they would qualify for the champions league.

Loved the way he basically just ran over their centre half for the third. Could almost say he bullied their centre half.

Anita is quite a decent right back, but looks clueless at left back. Played well up against a quick winger like Montero.

I thought he was fine in the first half - and the main reason he was decent was because he got the ball. Barely touched it in the second half, but not entirely sure that's his fault.

Keep him in central midfield.

Because his touch is s*** and he can't pass or tackle. So pretty much the same as the rest of our centre midfield Play him as part of a midfield three and get him running from deep, on the counter, with space in front of him - his crap touch matters a lot less when he's got space to run into.

Can't quite work out why he isn't played in the middle. Seems a bit odd not to give him a go there and having him breaking from deep with space to attack.

Of what? Getting something. Might be a minimal chance, but it's an improved chance.

Winning the Europa League and qualifying for CL is their sole focus now - gives us a much better chance.

Liverpool going through would be best for our survival hopes.
