Tottenham vs. Newcastle United - Sun 10th Nov @ 12pm (live on Sky Sports 1)

Nah, he's a very good defender, Dawson. Martins used to rape him twice a season, though. Shearer tore him apart in the 3-1 game a while back. Thought he did again but I can't find it. -
Glad to be honest - used to really annoy me.
-
Must have been a fair drop off in corporate hospitality and boxes being taken up etc? But maybe not 10 million...
-
In fairness, I am assuming matchday revenue is down because Ashley has not increased ticket prices to the same degree as Spurs. I work with a season ticket holder at Spurs and his ticket (which isn't the most expensive you can get) is over 1k. The commercial revenue decline is a disgrace though.

I loved the fact that the ground was full before kick off. Meant a better atmosphere and a bit more anticipation. Really annoys me that people saunter in just before kick off just to cram one extra pint in. Also the announcement that the players were in the tunnel..
-
Playing really well at the moment - hopefully he can keep this up and be the Tiote we knew from before.
-
Can't agree with that - by far and away the best journalist when it comes to us. I am not sure I have actually read a bad article by him.
-
Never scored 20 league goals in a season. I don't think he was technically good enough to ever be regarded as great.
-
completely irrelevant to anything at all to do with this thread or pretty much anything except my own personal gripes but my god I hate that phrase. http://www.theguardian.com/football/quiz/2013/oct/29/are-you-a-football-hipster

He's perfectly within his rights not to resign. However I'm also within mine to think that he's a spineless coward with no self respect whose only purpose in life is to coat Mike Ashley's arsehole in saliva on a daily basis. You can think what you like. I just think it's unrealistic to expect many managers to resign on principle. 99% of managers will just hang on until they are sacked either hoping for a pay off or until they have something else lined up.
-
Not sure why anyone thinks Pardew should resign. Idealistic crap basically.
-
Would love him to come so much. Imagine what he could do with our team.
-
Bielsa and Zemen are both available. To complete the footballing hipster triumvirate - I will go for Dragan Stojkovic.
-
Yep - I would agree with that. As I said - no contest between him and Pardew!
-
Nah, two of the best man managers, knowledgeable football men and respected individuals in the game would do just as s*** as Pardew is. Keegan actually did pretty damn well before the fall out. Bring Keegan in tomorrow and the upturn would be huge Much as I like Keegan and would like him back ahead of Pardew.. he didn't really do that well. He certainly didn't do 'pretty damn well'. He won 6 games out of 21.
-
They always do that with stats - admittedly he hasn't scored for a while, but it 's a bit misleading to throw a 2-3 month gap in where he couldn't have scored a goal..
-
Love to know when Shearer actually said that.
-
He shouldn't be played through the middle.
-
He was there days after we got rid of Hughton if memory serves. Nobody gives a f***, man. The Milburn part where he sits is full of the worst of the worst in cowards, and folk who simply couldn't give two s***s that we lost to Sunderland again. Yeah - those Milburn cowards. Disgraceful behaviour. They should be spoiling for a fight.
-
Never quite understood the Holloway dislike. He seems like a decent bloke and I think he is underrated as a manager. As others have pointed out, almost no point taking an unfancied team up into the Premier League as your reputation suffers unfairly. It was an amazing achievement to get Blackpool and Palace up and remarkable that he even got Blackpool close to staying up.

Sissoko in harrods just now. Looking at pets.
-
It's not the best way of getting anything of HBA though - but I agree it worked tactically today.
-
Wasted with the ball coming to him with his back to goal all the time. I just think he is much better out wide with a bit more space and time.

What? We have 3 good counters that I remember and scored a goal. We were a man down you know. Did their keeper make a save in the second half? Really can't remember one and that's not the sign of a team that should have won. Are you surprised? You did see the sending off? All I'm saying is that we "shouldn't have won it". We were celebrating the draw as if it were a win. Again... with 10 men for 50 minutes against a good team... are you surprised?
