  1. Yes, but that was through spending too much time in Greggs, not the gym. I'm sure one of our managers actually said he'd been spending too much time in the gym throughout one of his long term injuries. Might have even been Pardew. wasnt he complaining about always getting shoulder injuries, so he stopped doing weights on shoulders? an idea that was just crazy enough to work... apparently he went down from a size Large to a size medium shirt (this was last year under Pards i think)
  2. Very similar to Flo Rida in that respect. I think you are getting your shitty rappers mixed up, think you mean this one.... EDIT: Dave beat me to it but the gif stays http://gifsoup.com/view5/2854436/pitbull-practices-his-moves-o.gif tbh, this was my interpretation... http://www.hitthefloor.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Rastamouse.bmp

    Vurnon Anita

We'll get humped contract-wise...what ive read about him, he has like the strongest but most shit technique of negotiation in football, but always wins ridiculous contracts for his players (based of his Zlatan deals at least)
  5. Good old Pardew instilling confidence in the shitter players. If he'd started last season brilliantly he would have kept his place, no? he means literally the opening 10 minutes of his season against Arsenal...i thought he looked like Messi in comparison to his later games...
  6. if youre on about the money being unrealistic; http://www.wolvesblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Fletcher-300x247.jpg
  7. Id say he even has a good first touch, but he is abysmal when it comes to making decisions, and then he hit the wall in terms of confidence and then suddenly his bad touches started coming more and more often. Basically, I reckon he is a good squad player if we can keep him happy on the bench, but £5mil or more, and id say we could take the profit and just find a new winger...(reliant on Marveaux being more injury-free)

    NUFC Kits

For every 31 Indonesia sulphur miners that worked that day, only one died a slow painful death; But hey, lets not worry about the little fella eh. People like you make me sick. COMPLETELY different things, you absolute cocksniffer. Watch your letterbox. I dont know whether that was hinting at sweatshop conditions, sheep mentality, or just fishing, but if it is the former, i can assure you that the "real" ones are made in equally abhorrent conditions Seriously, "fakes" now are identical, like apart from the 5euro ones where adidas kits are missing a stripe and theyre ill-fitting etc., they are normally made in the same factory by the same hands etc. People really cannot take a moral stand against this like...

    NUFC Kits

If its like alot of stuff made in China, itll be literally the same article as the real thing, but just distributed somewhere else. Video game accessories etc. will be the same, but without the branding, but same build quality. Football shirts are a weird one, but if it looks identical to the real one, then the quality will likely be the same. Theyre super cheap as they have like 0 overhead cost I say this as someone who bought a Milan and Barca shirt (for myself) and Inter shirt (for a mate) for combined cost of £50 from a similar site...so maybe im saying this more out of hope!

    Shola Ameobi

Just been lazing around on wikipedia, and seen that our top 5 appearence makers in all comps are; Name Appearances Goals 1 Jimmy Lawrence 496 0 2 Frank Hudspeth 472 37 3 Shay Given 462 0 4 Frank Clark 457 1 5 Bill McCracken 432 88 And Shola is currently on 322... If he keeps getting atleast 30 games a season (from the bench or otherwise), then within 3 or 4 years, he will be well up there With european games aswell as cup games, he should be in with a chance, he has made 30 each of the last 2 years and we didnt have any euro games. Make it happen! (He is still like only halfway to nabbing in the top 5 scorers list mind...)

From what I've seen of Papadopoulos, he's a great player Same, he looks like the strongest player ive ever seen, but not too weighed down by his muscle. The modern adaptation of classic centre backs, though kind of un-Milanese if you get what i mean

Well that was very polite and true, but being Curt is good at times too. . . .

was just about to post about M'Biwa...this makes me happy, though i reckon Papadopoulos from Schalke may have been a better bet. We shall see.
  20. i was going to use Alves and Maicon as examples but its kind of harsh on all other full backs It just strikes me as weird that any position on the pitch in this day and age is so undervalued. I think pre-Barca, it was similar with center-mids...the underrated Makalele etc. kinda bares this out. Barca have shown how center-mids can win games so maybe it just needs someone to show how full backs can win games...ill miss Raylor being in the team just a tiny bit mind unless "Mathieu Debuchy, over the wall" happens...
  21. Its funny, all this talk of signing full backs reminds me of an article possibly in True Faith, talking about how we had done so well to get Enrique and Simpson for such low fees, and how its symptomatic of football worldwide, that full backs are massively undervalued. Debuchy has been performing at a very high level for the past year atleast, and there is talk of him going for £5mil (yes Cabaye went for £4.4mil but...) yet if center backs have good seasons, youd be talking north of £10mil. Ofcourse, you could argue that full backs are more marginalised in terms of how much of the play they see, but they do equal near 20% of the starting lineup, and if used well they can affect the game significantly going forward and ofcourse back. Debuchy and Santon as a pairing would be amongst the very best in the league. Then again, i may be oversimplifying it like. (Summary - full backs are well cheap)
